Vi mindes de seks millioner jøder og de millioner af andre, der blev myrdet af nazisterne og deres medskyldige, og vi hylder det mod og den medmenneskelighed, der holdt stand selv i mødet med ufattelig grusomhed. Efterhånden som tiden går, og overlevendes stemmer bliver færre, bliver vores ansvar for at bevare deres historier og forsvare de historiske kendsgerninger stadig mere presserende. Vi må bekæmpe holocaustbenægtelse og forvrængning, uanset hvor de optræder. Vi må kæmpe for retfærdighed og erstatning og sikre, at sandheden om holocaust bliver undervist til hver generation. The world watched. Artemis II carried humans farther into space than we’ve ever been in over half a century and showed a new generation what exploration looks like. The journey back to the Moon is underway. Artemis III is up next.

Nye ideer og videnskabelige fremskridt mødes tit med skepsis. Det gælder også Robert Goddards ideer der for 100 år siden i år førte til den første affyring af en raket med flydende brandstof. Hans samtidige gjorde så meget grin med ham, at han hemmeligholdt sine resultater. Men det lykkedes altså at få en raket til at flyve 12 meter op i luften i 1926. 24 år efter hans død bragte hans teorier om raketter de første mennesker til månen i 1969. Honored to visit the Danish Jewish Museum recently for a guided tour and discussion with Director Janus Møller Jensen. For more than 400 years, Jewish history has been part of Denmark’s story. The museum’s powerful exhibitions, including on the October 1943 rescue of Danish Jews from Nazi persecution, highlight courage, solidarity, and the enduring importance of protecting human dignity. The United States stands with Denmark in combating antisemitism, preserving Jewish heritage, and educating future generations. We look forward to deepening our cooperation as we approach Freedom 250 and beyond.

Today the FBI and @TheJusticeDept announced Operation Masquerade, a court-authorized technical disruption of Russian GRU infrastructure used to steal government, military, and critical infrastructure information. Since at least 2024, a cyber unit within Russian military intelligence – tracked as APT28, Fancy Bear, and Forest Blizzard – has conducted a DNS hijacking campaign worldwide. The GRU compromised routers used in homes and businesses to steal emails, passwords, and authentication tokens of high-value intelligence targets. Given the scale of the threat, we needed to act. The FBI operation cut off GRU access to compromised routers in the US and prevented re-exploitation. The #FBI will continue to work with international and private sector partners to identify GRU cyber activity and impose costs on state-sponsored actors who target the American people. justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…
