💔 It’s heartbreaking to see some 19-20 year-old Indian girls who came to Canada as 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗲, only to then face postpartum depression and anxiety. Even more devastating is when their 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, leaving them to navigate this difficult time alone. Many of these young women 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀, and by the time they begin to rebuild their lives, they’ve already lost so much. This is an incredibly tragic reality that needs more attention and support especially from @CitImmCanada as well as Indian Diaspora. #SupportYoungWomen #InternationalStudents
