@PuVVNLHQ @UPPCLLKO @PUVVNLPRTAPGARH @UPPCL @UPPCLLKO Call at 11:27 PM is unacceptable. Claiming “unable to contact” while all details already shared is just formality, not resolution. Complaints PU08042602200, PU06042609675, PU05042606496 pending 24 Mar 26 but closed repeatedly.Stop forcing prepaid meter. #UPPCL

@PuVVNLHQ @PUVVNLPRTAPGARH This is unacceptable. Complaints are being closed without resolution just to avoid TAT breach. Customers are being misled by opening new complaints instead of resolving the original. Keep my complaint open until it is fully resolved. Repeated closure & registration not a solution

@PuVVNLHQ @PUVVNLPRTAPGARH Misleading response. My query is about PU06042609675, closed without explanation. Why are you referring to PU05042606496? On what basis was my complaint closed? Please give a clear and specific reply.

@PuVVNLHQ @PUVVNLPRTAPGARH There is confusion regarding the complaint PU06042609675, which is already closed. You are providing an update for a different complaint (PU05042606496), which I did not ask about. What is the relation between these two complaints? Please clarify.

A lot of people misunderstand health insurance—they determine the size of their cover based on the average size of claims. This is like attempting to cross a river that's on average 4 feet deep. Don't try it—you'll drown when you hit the 10-foot-deep section. While the average is a valuable metric for insurers, who rely on the law of large numbers due to the high volume of policies they sell, it’s not the right approach for individuals. As an individual, your focus should be on preparing for extreme scenarios. In the Indian context, medical inflation—which is in double digits—should also factor into your planning. So, what's the right approach? ✅ Buy the highest cover for the longest possible duration within your affordability. ✅ Increase your coverage as your affordability improves and more options become available (most insurers cap coverage at ₹1 crore but may offer higher limits in the future). ✅ Add critical illness coverage to safeguard against the high cost of treatment (see image)—this also serves as an extra layer of protection. ✅ Stay healthy—earning a "negative IRR" (return) on your premiums by not making claims is a win!

Physically and cognitively, we are hunters and gatherers living in this world with nice UI/UX, driving fancy cars, wearing stylish clothes armed with a brain that often misfires in modern contexts, leading to irrational choices. A thread on behavioural biases [1/11]
