💔 Gilbert Burns once called his mother to ask for money, but before he got the chance, she asked if he had any to send: “I needed to pay rent, which was $7–8, and I had bronchitis. So I called my mom to see if she had money for medicine to help me out. When I called her, I talked to her for a long time because I wasn’t going to ask for money right away. Then she asked me if I had money to send her. I said I didn’t have any at the moment, but I would send it to her pretty soon.” Gilbert says he locked in after this call, and his first success started coming in 2009. 🎥 @GilbertDurinho

I’m really seeing the vision with Justin Joyner’s first roster at Oregon State. Would be stunned if this isn’t a top-four team in the PAC-12 Josiah Lake Legend Smiley Deshawn Gory Jackson Rasmussen Xavier Staton Lake is an established PG. Really good tone setter. Smiley can really score. Gory might have the most pure upside here. Athletic wing who can really shoot it. Lot of skills with him. Rasmussen can be a bit of a bruiser at 6-7 but can also shoot a bit. And Staton is the wild card. If he realizes his potential, it’ll make Oregon State a very, very dangerous team.

NEWS: Boise State forward Andrew Meadow announced he’s committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-7 junior out of Santa Clarita, California played the first three seasons of his career at Boise State. Started 68 of 102 career games. He averaged 12.1PPG, 3.6RPG and 1.0APG this season.
