Hello everyone. We recently announced an exciting new initiative. For a while now, there's been a lot of conversations around talent around the ecosystem and how there's a huge need to build or support more talent, especially with the impact of Japa. We decided to step into this by building Rise Academy. We'll pay N50,000 monthly stipend for a year to anyone who is interested in learning how to build software who gets accepted into our program, regardless of your level of experience today. After the one year, they can continue learning with the Rise team while working on real life projects or they are free to move on to whatever else. No strings attached. Why are we doing this? First we as a company will definitely benefit from having a stronger engineering pipeline. Second, we know that several people are working on this but there's still so much demand so we'd like to help. Third, we have a lot of young people who need to earn more and part of our mission as a company is to make it possible. Lastly, we've seen that our ecosystem as a whole benefits from having more talented people.
