CNN and much of the MSM are more willing to believe Iran’s lies than what Trump says. This isn’t healthy. We’re at war with Iran, yet many reporters trust Iran first. I actually think the Anthropic CEO is wrong because there are far more lawyers and bankers in state legislatures than AI programmers and the people who write the laws will protect their industries and Anthropic will see itself killed before the lawyers.

Very few people who agree with both of these correct claims: A) The settler movement in the West Bank are modern-day fascists, and the Netanyahu government's implicit endorsement of the recent rein of terror there against Palestinians is not only morally repugnant but potentially catastrophic for the future of Israel and the region. B) The IDF did not systematically target civilians in the Gaza Strip and I still have no idea why that became consensus when it's pretty obvious to me that, even if the IDF were simply *indifferent* to civilian loss of life, they would have easily killed orders of magnitude more people than they actually did kill, and in a much shorter time frame. And it would not even really be that unusual for urban combat.

Many in the US media believe Iran that no talks even took place. Trump has gotten the Iranians to fight bitterly among themselves, knowing they don’t trust each other. Meanwhile, much of the US media trust Iran’s denial of talks more than Trump saying there were talks. Hilarious!

Since President Trump revealed contacts with the Islamic Republic, we’re seeing something very telling inside Iran: chaos at the top. Regime officials are either turning on each other, pointing fingers, accusing one another of negotiating with the United States or in their own media and social platforms, they’re warning against character assassination of figures like Ghalibaf or Rouhani, because suspicion is spreading inside the regime itself. Some are even calling for arrests or worse. Others are publicly shaming officials, accusing them of secret talks. This is the atmosphere on the Islamic Republic’s side of social media. Total panic.

I want to point out something objectively true. Right now, each of you is as much an expert on what the Iranian regime is thinking as every talking head on television who pronounces for the Iranian regime. The leadership is dead. The gay ayatollah is, at best, in a coma. The President of Iran is a figurehead, not talking to anyone else in leadership. The head of the Air Force is dead. The head of the Army is dead. The head of the Navy is dead. The head of the secret police is dead. The head of the Basij militia is dead. The Iranian IRGC spokesman is dead. In some cases, we are on the replacements of the replacements of the dead. We’re on the C team now across the board — people without ties to the television analysts who have long pontificated on what the Iranian leadership is thinking. So much of what you are hearing about what the leadership might do or is thinking is based on pro-Iran analysts who are not talking to the present leadership, but only know the thinking of the dead leadership.
