@tekbog yes, the meat computer in your skull is too special and unique. AI will never code as well as humans despite getting 10 times better at it in the last few years. we've reached peak AI

With this, it’s like my brain completely glitches out over the fact that the pole hasn’t moved at all, but it’s actually the ice sheet that’s moving.

@WesRoth why is apple fighting the apps that would flood their store with new developers?

Apple has quietly halted App Store updates for popular AI "vibe-coding" applications most notably the $9 billion startup Replit and mobile app builder Vibecode. After months of pushback, Apple is reportedly demanding major UX changes. Replit is being asked to force its generated app previews to open in an external web browser rather than natively inside its app. Vibecode was told it must completely remove the ability to generate software specifically for Apple devices.

@ClickWhisperer @Jason_Jorjani Ok, “antiterrorist”, why don’t you go Iran and get blown up by Israel if you love them so much? If you’re so high and mighty, why are you sitting on twitter ?

@0ce969df @Jason_Jorjani I am an antiterrorist, officially. Figure out what that means. You, on the other hand are helping terrorists make threats, officially what we'd refer to as terrorism.

Mossad is now calling IRGC field commanders, one by one, and warning them that their location has been IDed, and if they don’t side with the Iranian people when the mass uprising begins, then they will be killed by Israel together with their entire family. wsj.com/world/middle-e…

We’re calling it. Netanyahu, Barnea, Ben-Gvir and several other members of Israel’s security leadership are dead. That’s the Prime Minister, Head of Mossad and Minister of National Security. Iran hit a high-level meeting of minds the same way Israel did. The question is who had the drop on them and dimed them out to Iran. If Trumps smart he pretends like he double-crossed Netanyahu, takes credit for it all and leaves the war.

@KingVelesI what is your argument against bodyoids other than they look weird?

Transhumanists would rather fill the world with these nightmarish abominations than accept the fact that their morality is fundamentally flawed. There is NOTHING morally wrong with slaughtering animals. Livestock can be raised and slaughtered 100% humanely. They can live happy, healthy lives, and have painless, stress-free deaths. I know this for a fact, as that's how we do it on our farm. In nature, prey animals depend on predators to keep their numbers in check, and prevent them from destroying their own environment and, thus, themselves through overpopulation. In ethical animal husbandry, humans have simply taken on the role of a supremely benevolent apex predator that grants their "prey" lives and deaths that are far, FAR better than those their wild counterparts get to experience. Thus, converting wilderness to farms already results in a HUGE decrease of animal suffering, and on truly ethical farms, animals don't suffer at all. Hence, I believe pushing for cruelty-free farming is a much better and healthier strategy than trying to spawn horrific, brainless flesh robots in an effort to solve a non-existent moral problem.
Kai Micah Mills@kaimicahmills

the ultimate solution is through technology we engineer what has been called a bodyoid: brainless animal bodies that provide as much meat as we desire without harming any sentient beings this would transform medicine - the same platform would allow us to grow organs on demand, eliminate transplant waiting lists, and produce perfectly matched tissues for each patient experimental therapies could be tested on full biological systems without involving conscious animals, regenerative medicine would accelerate as entire replacement tissues become manufacturable in the same way that agriculture turned food from a scarce resource into an abundant one, engineered bodyoids would turn biological material into infrastructure - meat without slaughter, organs without donors, and medical research without sentient suffering

The National Hockey League has rescinded the major penalty for goaltender intereference assessed to Colorado Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon for running into Oilers goaltender Connor Ingram. Why? More on the ruling, what it means, and why it matters: scoutingtherefs.com/2026/03/51464/…

@dexhorthy and in this scenario you can't rollback to a stable version because.....?

Here’s what’s gonna happen: - you replace your code review with feedback loops (sentry, datadog, support tickets, etc) - you stop reading the code - software factory fixes everything - one day something breaks at 3am, agent can’t fix it - nobody’s read the code in 3 months - you have 3 weeks of downtime trying to re-onboard and fix it - you lose significant % of your contracts and users - your company is now dead
dex@dexhorthy

@gregpr07 this may surprise you that thus is coming from me but I think we’re in for a 1-3 year period where stuff might break at 3am and if you’re relying on loops to fix it and nobody understands what’s under the hood, you’re looking at an existential threat to your company
