The most beautiful thing about Islam is the pure oneness of God. You can purely focus your worship to The One, and have a direct relationship with Him. I cannot imagine dealing with a relationship with a man or God’s son or the complexity of the Trinity for example and the mess of having many gods. Just one God who as the Quran puts it is “closer to you than your jugular vein” There’s something profoundly freeing in that vision: no intermediaries, or divine hierarchy, no confusion between Creator and creation, and only the direct, unbroken bond between the soul and its Source.
