As of mid-2025, almost 2% of all citations on papers uploaded to the Social Science Research Network are hallucinated. On arXiv, PubMed Central, and bioRxiv, the rise in hallucinations has also been substantial. A new paper found this was just the tip of the iceberg🧵

@MiraiTechCity this October! 🇯🇵 special economic zone for biotech has amazing regulations big pharma has been using. Now it's time for little pharma and bio startups! Biohackers, VCs and founders, come to JP this October! It's the best time of a year to see Japan! LFG!

The real reason founders move to SF isn’t the capital. It’s the hallway conversations. So we built a hallway. Launching @superherohotel: 6 floors in a historic 1920 Nob Hill building. 10-min walk from @frontiertower. Members have raised $150M. Events have pulled 70K. Sleep at the hotel. Build at the Tower. Come for 4 weeks. Ship, raise, break through 👇

This is huge! The UK govt’s Department for Science, Innovation & Tech is launching a £500mm sovereign AI fund in 5 weeks (on April 16th) I’m seeing “Londonmaxxing” trend A LOT on my timeline, particularly with AI + crypto The website frames it around British AI heritage (Ada Lovelace, Turing, the World Wide Web, AlphaFold) before landing on the pitch that the UK is already Europe’s largest AI sector (£1 trillion tech market, 200+ unicorns, 5,800+ AI companies) The fund appears to be the government’s attempt to consolidate that position and keep strategic AI development onshore Not much detail yet beyond the launch date Worth watching if you’re tracking sovereign compute/national AI infrastructure themes particularly as we see a plethora of emerging tech funds and AI labs set up shop in London This fits squarely into our agentic infrastructure thesis we consistently cover at @KhalaResearch
