@beonlynone @0xPleb This series includes a number of NFTs created entirely by AI. The creators made no secret of this. But at least these collections had a mechanism behind them, and they were backed by people who were quite public people.

Anyone else see what's happening with the NPC collection?
We are watching blatant market manipulation play out in real-time. A central wallet 'temafloram' utilized a massive Sybil bot farm to funnel the mint supply. They are currently sitting on a stash of 184 NPCs, which is still growing, and they are relentlessly dumping on the market.
A few major red flags:
🔹No transparency: The team and founders are completely anonymous.
🔹Insider farming: It is highly likely this is an inside job designed to farm their own mint and fabricate hype.
🔹Triple dipping: They pocketed the initial mint funds and are now milking the secondary market + collecting royalties from others' trades.
Despite this, people are still blindly buying in and acting as exit liquidity.
How does the space keep falling for this? The NFT market will never recover if we keep allowing bad actors to extract what little liquidity we have left.

@FerrymanTCG Guys, the developer has run out of limits on Claude, so let's wait until they're restored.

We honestly didn’t expect this kind of traffic. With less than 1.5k holders, the app already pushed past 1.5M+ requests and it ended up overwhelming parts of the infrastructure, causing the site to break temporarily.
We were not prepared for traffic at this scale this early. The team is actively stabilizing everything right now.
Please give us a little time. I’ll share a full breakdown and detailed analysis once we finish investigating everything.
Appreciate everyone’s patience and support.

@mweinbach Bro, I'm curious what temperatures this Mac reaches under such loads, and does throttling start?

Overwatch runs at 60fps medium settings holy crap
This is x86 to Arm emulation, Windows to macOS, and DX11 to Metal
Insane tbh

This is going to be pushing it but... I'm installing Overwatch via Crossover on the MacBook Neo

Why even the youngest vibecoder can already make themselves a sound controller for MacOS, anyone can, but just not Apple for its own OS?

[local llms: smol qwen3.5 review]
hello everyone!
for a long time, my m1 pro macbook sat around doing nothing (i only use it when traveling). and i've been thinking for a while about how i needed a local llm that could run on my home setup without breaking a sweat.
so when the open-source qwen3.5b dropped, and it happened to line up with a 4-hour flight i had, i set it up locally - ollama + qwen3.5b:2b/4b/9b are now running on my macbook.
after in-flight tests and a few days of use afterward, i decided to share my results.
tl;dr for those who don't want to watch the video:
i asked each model the same question:
hey, this is rskl. what is @polymarket❔
• qwen3.5b:2b - fast, cringey, dumb. this is your younger brother who laughs at "six seven" and just stares blankly when you ask him something.
- avg cpu load: 7-10% (which is probably a good sign)
- response time: around 2 minutes
- response quality: partially straight-up false statements
• qwen3.5b:4b - fast, correct, no fluff. this is you trying to think quickly but still deliver a decent answer.
- avg cpu load: 30-40%
- response time: around 2 minutes
- response quality: slightly outdated in parts
• qwen3.5b:9b - slow, but overly correct. this is your grandpa who takes 20 minutes to think of a response, but answers short and to the point.
- avg cpu load: 30-40%
- response time: around 6 minutes
- response quality: solid, but minimal
general impressions after a few days of use:
the 4b model is genuinely solid, but the macbook starts throttling after a while. the 2b and 9b are both misses - one's too dumb, the other's too heavy.
yeah, the info is a bit outdated, but if you're editing text, doing basic programming, or learning something where the information doesn't update every month, this model works perfectly for you.
have you tried running qwen❔
how was it❔
or you can recommend other, better models❔
