@Jasper_ETH @pseudotheos @hasufl Only until blocks get full and gas prices start going up, at which point you'd expect rational users to start gravitating towards protocols that provide the same service for cheaper. Early DeFi summer is an example of efficiency winning out under such conditions.

In 30 hours after the Merge: ➡️ETH supply grew by 342 ETH. ➡️But it would grow by ~14k ETH in PoW. I fixed the chart on ultrasound.money as people kept misunderstanding it. Now you can also see projected $ETH Supply Change if Ethereum hadn't switched from PoW to PoS.

Yes. It was actually accumulating so many users it was a software centralization risk and the Prysm, Nimbus, Teku, and Lighthouse devs all beat me up at a parking garage one night after a musical. My beard's code, while still open source, should now be considered deprecated.
