Fun fact: back in 2012, I designed an iOS app called @gifture . It let you take a burst photo and turned it into a looping GIF. We ended up building a small community around it, and people got surprisingly creative with it. It even picked up a bit of attention, T-Pain and @freddurst were using it, and I had a DM exchange with Fred where he was excited about a version two (which we never shipped 😅). It never really took off, but we did get a $100k acquisition offer from Chris Brown’s incubator/manager at the time, which we turned down.
