Finanzamt ignoriert Urteil – Vermögen weiterhin blockiert Viele haben mich gefragt, ob ich mein Vermögen inzwischen zurückerhalten habe. Die ehrliche Antwort: Nein. Das Finanzamt bleibt bei den während meiner Haftzeit erstellten Schätzungen. Demonstrationen seien ein Geschäftsmodell, QUERDENKEN-711 habe angeblich Gewinne erzielt. Auf dieser Grundlage wurden Einkommensteuer-, Gewerbe- und Körperschaftsteuerbescheide für 2020 und 2021 erlassen – und vollstreckt. Mein Steuerberaterteam hat Einspruch eingelegt. Ende 2024 wurde Klage beim Finanzgericht eingereicht. Bis heute gibt es keinen Verhandlungstermin. Das Urteil des Landgerichts wird faktisch ignoriert. Ein Ende ist nicht absehbar. Ich hoffe, dass ich zumindest einen Teil meines Vermögens zurückerhalte, bevor neue Systeme wie der digitale Euro kommen. Ein sogenannter CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) ist eine programmierbare digitale Zentralbankwährung. Das bedeutet: Geld kann technisch gesteuert werden – wofür es verwendet werden darf und wofür nicht. Politische Aktivitäten wie Demonstrationen könnten damit einfach unterbunden werden, indem Zahlungen blockiert oder eingeschränkt werden. Hintergrund: Freispruch – und dennoch kein Zugriff auf das eigene Vermögen Nach 44 Verhandlungstagen wurde ich in allen wesentlichen Anklagepunkten freigesprochen. Der zentrale Vorwurf – Betrug, Geldwäsche, private Bereicherung – ist vollständig in sich zusammengefallen. Was bleibt, ist die Erkenntnis: Die Grundlage der Anklage war von Anfang an nicht tragfähig. Bereits am 11. Verhandlungstag wurde deutlich, dass die steuerlichen Vorwürfe auf fehlerhaften Zahlen und unbelegten Schätzungen basierten. Selbst Behördenvertreter mussten einräumen, dass wesentliche Berechnungen nicht belastbar waren und auf unzureichenden Grundlagen beruhten. Am 13. Verhandlungstag wurde dieses Bild noch klarer: Die Ermittlungsbehörden konnten nicht einmal definieren, was „Zwecke von Querdenken“ überhaupt sein sollen. Statt klarer Kriterien gab es individuelle Einschätzungen und persönliche „Vorstellungen“. Ausgaben wurden nach subjektivem Empfinden bewertet – ohne fachliche Grundlage. Das Ergebnis dieser Vorgehensweise haben wir alle gesehen: Die Vorwürfe sind vor Gericht wie ein Soufflé zusammengefallen. Und trotzdem geht es weiter Trotz Freispruch sind bis heute hunderttausende Euro meines Vermögens blockiert. Die Finanzbehörden reagieren nicht, Bescheide bleiben unbearbeitet, Rückzahlungen bleiben aus. Was wir jetzt erleben, ist die zweite Phase: - Nicht mehr Strafrecht – sondern Verwaltungsrecht. - Nicht mehr Anklage – sondern Verzögerung. - Nicht mehr Vorwürfe – sondern Ignorieren. Was jetzt passiert jetzt? - Klage beim Finanzgericht - Untätigkeitsklage gegen das Finanzamt - Aufarbeitung der Vermögensarreste - Klärung der grundsätzlichen Frage: Dürfen Demonstrationen steuerlich als Geschäftsmodell behandelt werden? Denn wenn das so wäre, könnte jeder Demonstrationsanmelder beliebig kriminalisiert werden. Gedanke zum Schluss Es geht hier nicht nur um mich. Es geht um die Frage, wie ein Staat mit Menschen umgeht, die ihre Grundrechte wahrnehmen. Und es geht darum, ob Urteile auch umgesetzt werden – oder ob sie einfach ignoriert werden. Two years ago, I wrote this post on the possible areas that I see for ethereum + AI intersections: vitalik.eth.limo/general/2024/0… This is a topic that many people are excited about, but where I always worry that we think about the two from completely separate philosophical perspectives. I am reminded of Toly's recent tweet that I should "work on AGI". I appreciate the compliment, for him to think that I am capable of contributing to such a lofty thing. However, I get this feeling that the frame of "work on AGI" itself contains an error: it is fundamentally undifferentiated, and has the connotation of "do the thing that, if you don't do it, someone else will do anyway two months later; the main difference is that you get to be the one at the top" (though this may not have been Toly's intention). It would be like describing Ethereum as "working in finance" or "working on computing". To me, Ethereum, and my own view of how our civilization should do AGI, are precisely about choosing a positive direction rather than embracing undifferentiated acceleration of the arrow, and also I think it's actually important to integrate the crypto and AI perspectives. I want an AI future where: * We foster human freedom and empowerment (ie. we avoid both humans being relegated to retirement by AIs, and permanently stripped of power by human power structures that become impossible to surpass or escape) * The world does not blow up (both "classic" superintelligent AI doom, and more chaotic scenarios from various forms of offense outpacing defense, cf. the four defense quadrants from the d/acc posts) In the long term, this may involve crazy things like humans uploading or merging with AI, for those who want to be able to keep up with highly intelligent entities that can think a million times faster on silicon substrate. In the shorter term, it involves much more "ordinary" ideas, but still ideas that require deep rethinking compared to previous computing paradigms. So now, my updated view, which definitely focuses on that shorter term, and where Ethereum plays an important role but is only one piece of a bigger puzzle: # Building tooling to make more trustless and/or private interaction with AIs possible. This includes: * Local LLM tooling * ZK-payment for API calls (so you can call remote models without linking your identity from call to call) * Ongoing work into cryptographic ways to improve AI privacy * Client-side verification of cryptographic proofs, TEE attestations, and any other forms of server-side assurance Basically, the kinds of things we might also build for non-LLM compute (see eg. my ethereum privacy roadmap from a year ago ethereum-magicians.org/t/a-maximally-… ), but for LLM calls as the compute we are protecting. # Ethereum as an economic layer for AI-related interactions This includes: * API calls * Bots hiring bots * Security deposits, potentially eventually more complicated contraptions like onchain dispute resolution * ERC-8004, AI reputation ideas The goal here is to enable AIs to interact economically, which makes viable more decentralized AI architectures (as opposed to non-economic coordination between AIs that are all designed and run by one organization "in-house"). Economies not for the sake of economies, but to enable more decentralized authority. # Make the cypherpunk "mountain man" vision a reality Basically, take the vision that cypherpunk radicals have always dreamed of (don't trust; verify everything), that has been nonviable in reality because humans are never actually going to verify all the code ourselves. Now, we can finally make that vision happen, with LLMs doing the hard parts. This includes: * Interacting with ethereum apps without needing third party UIs * Having a local model propose transactions for you on its own * Having a local model verify transactions created by dapp UIs * Local smart contract auditing, and assistance interpreting the meaning of FV proofs provided by others * Verifying trust models of applications and protocols # Make much better markets and governance a reality Prediction and decision markets, decentralized governance, quadratic voting, combinatorial auctions, universal barter economy, and all kinds of constructions are all beautiful in theory, but have been greatly hampered in reality by one big constraint: limits to human attention and decision-making power. LLMs remove that limitation, and massively scale human judgement. Hence, we can revisit all of those ideas. These are all things that Ethereum can help to make a reality. They are also ideas that are in the d/acc spirit: enabling decentralized cooperation, and improving defense. We can revisit the best ideas from 2014, and add on top many more new and better ones, and with AI (and ZK) we have a whole new set of tools to make them come to life. We can describe the above as a 2x2 chart. There's a lot to build!

Für alle, die immer behaupten, NIUS würde nur nörgeln, aber keine Lösungen präsentieren, sind hier die Lösungen: 1. Atomwende. Alle noch funktionsfähigen AKW wieder ans Netz, dazu zehn neue bauen. Wenn irgendwer sagt, das wäre nicht möglich oder zu teuer, fragen, warum nahezu alle anderen Länder der Welt es so machen. 2. Abschieben wie Donald Trump. Illegale Einreise verfolgen. Die Bundespolizei holt die Leute ab und bringt sie in Abschiebegefängnisse (z.B Kasernengelände), bis sie von der Bundeswehr ausgeflogen werden. Jeden Tag sollten zwei bis drei A300M-Flüge nach Syrien, Afghanistan, Irak gehen. 3. Zurückweisung aller Migranten an der deutschen Grenze ohne Einreisepapiere. 4. CO2-Abgabe ersatzlos streichen. Steuer auf die Luft ist die suizidal-verrückteste Idee aller Zeiten. 5. Jegliche Steuerfinanzierung der "erneuerbaren Energien" streichen. 6. Brief an die EU, dass Deutschland bei der Energiepolitik (Kraftwerkstrategie) nicht mehr auf Genehmigung aus Brüssel wartet. 7. Brief an die EU, dass Deutschland aus dem Verbrennerverbot komplett aussteigt. 8. Sozialleistungen für alle illegal eingereisten werden bis zur Abschiebung auf Bett, Brot, Seife (am besten in Abschiebegewahrsam) reduziert. 9. Komplette Streichung von Steuergeld für alle NGOs, links wie rechts. 10. Bei tendenziell verfassungsfeindlichen Demos (Gaza, Kalifat etc) setzen die Behörden durch, dass nur deutsche Staatsbürger demonstrieren. Der Staat geht dagegen vor, dass fremde Konflikte hier ausgetragen werden. 12. Steuerreform, die Leistungsträger massiv belohnt und anlockt. Die Steuerquote für Arbeitnehmer und Unternehmen muss auf das Niveau des Mitbewerbers USA sinken. 13. Massive Deregulierung: Fünf Top-EU-Verordnungen werden ersatzlos gestrichen. Dann jedes Jahr weitere fünf. Neue EU-Verordnungen werden von Deutschland nicht mehr umgesetzt. 14. Klares Reform-Ultimatum an die EU mit realistischem Zeit-Horizont. Wenn die EU sich nicht reformiert, tritt Deutschland für ein Folgemodell ein, das sich im wesentlichen auf eine Freihandelszone beschränkt und auch die Freizügigkeit für mehrere Staaten beendet, um Migration in den Sozialstaat zu stoppen. Wer behauptet, das geht alles nicht, behauptet das aus nur einem Grund: Er will es nicht.

The European Commission offered 𝕏 an illegal secret deal last year. If 𝕏 quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine 𝕏. The other platforms accepted that deal. 𝕏 did not.

Rumors swirling that the EU commission will fine X hundreds of millions of dollars for not engaging in censorship. The EU should be supporting free speech not attacking American companies over garbage.
