This trader got rekted for $528,000 trading based on market rules @willo2_Poly was the biggest YES shareholder on "MicroStrategy sells any BTC by May 31" market The sell of BTC by May 31 was confirmed So the win seemed clear to him He had $528K in shares there But Polymarket team had a completely different view on the matter The confirmation came after May 31 That's why in their view it doesn't count After clarification from the team, his position went to zero It’s a shame when you trade by the rules. My final take on the whole MicroStrategy-Polymarket situation: I think this market should be resolved as Yes. The question was simple: Did MicroStrategy sell any Bitcoin by May 31? According to the company's own SEC filing, 32 $BTC were sold during the May 26–31 period. The sale took place within the timeframe the market asked about. That's the key fact. Polymarket adding extra "public confirmation needed" language after the market closed makes it look like the resolution is being shaped around the controversy rather than the original question. That's not how prediction markets are supposed to work. You write clear rules upfront, people bet millions based on them, and then you stick to what actually happened according to the company's own records. Resolving No might save them short-term drama with No holders, but it damages trust in the long run. Crypto users already view these platforms with skepticism, and retroactive interpretations like this only reinforce those concerns. Prediction markets only matter if they're fair, consistent, and predictable. Based on the information available, the sale happened, the company confirmed it in an official filing, and that points to a Yes resolution. Until recently, I believed @Polymarket was a project that could deliver a game-changing airdrop in the style of $HYPE, bring hope back to airdrop farmers and breathe new life into the trenches.
I didn’t even really see my $1,200 in negative PnL as a loss, because I believed it was more than worth it for farming such a promising project.
But after what they’ve done over the past three days, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they followed the @pump playbook instead - launched an IPO/ICO at a $20B valuation and never airdropped anything at all.
