Volunteering at @IBWofficial turned out to be one of the best decisions. Ended up having 1:1 conversations with almost every speaker who came through Jamie from @BitgetWalletCN , Sreeram Kannan from @eigencloud , Sadiq Ahmed from @GrowthProtocol_ , Devika Mittal from @AvaLabs , Yusuf Goolamabbas from @animocabrands, Aishwary from @0xPolygon, Gaurav from @ionet, Gyan Lakshmi from @Starknet , and a bunch of other OGs. Since this was my first ever crypto event, I can’t compare whether IBW was “dead” or not. My experience honestly felt the opposite. What I realised is: if you want real conversations and ROI, you have to be intentional. Pick a few people in your niche. Learn what they’re building. Show up prepared. Then go find them, and talk. That’s what worked for me.
