McGowan: Can just let me speak for like one fricken second, bro? Rothman: Sorry. McGowan: There was a deal and Trump came in and said, I can get a better deal. And he ripped it up and he didn't get a better deal. And then he went into that country at the request of another country's leader, and he spent $50 billion and killed thousands of civilians and at least 13 American soldiers and hundreds of American soldiers are injured. We've hurt our bases. We've hurt our radar. People hate the country now. We had a president say that we're going to destroy an entire civilization…. That does not make you a good negotiator. That doesn't make you a good guy. It makes you psychotic.

I was working for Donald Trump in New York when he was first dating Melania. Epstein was not involved in ANY way. The smears on this incredibly kind cultured and courageous First Lady are outrageous.

@RodDMartin Trump doesn’t even know there are factions. If you believe he has more than an elementary level knowledge of the inner workings of Iran you are not being obtuse, YOU are being intentional.

My friend Craig Bergman offers a brilliant take: Unless you live under a rock or are intentionally obtuse, let me explain things. There is no cease-fire. The reason there is no cease-fire is Iran no longer has a functioning government. Trump negotiated with one of the larger factions. There are 24 factions Not all of them want peace. Not all of them will even negotiate. So what is Trump doing? It should be completely obvious to anyone who is not intentionally not wanting to understand. He is pitting the factions against each other with competing interests for money and power and safety. And when one of them betrays the other, they will take care of the bad one. If they don’t, then Trump will randomly target them again and blame them all as if they are one government. That will frustrate them greatly, causing them again to turn on each other because there is no longer any single central authority. This is absolutely brilliant, but if you think it’s gonna mean peace, if you think the Strait is really going to be open, and if you think Iran has surrendered and decided to play nice, you are delusional. If you think Trump wants to murder 90 million people you are beneath delusional: you are intentional. So chill out and watch the show: it is a master class. And yes, I’m not predicting it. I am telling you what is happening. This is not a guess. This is not an informed opinion. I am speaking fact. Watch it happen.

@TheRickWilson Their 80-year-old man-baby leader is so fragile that a nickname risks nuclear rage. The “man” that attacks everyone everyday with childish nicknames. That’s the real insanity, so fuck you all for voting for this.

@Dook_Buck @StoicPatriot76 @RubinReport So you just gave Iran the ability to close the strait and charge 2 million a ship for safe passage. This money goes straight to them enriching uranium and building more missiles. They shot multiple planes out of the air just days ago. This plan stops neither of those. Nitwit

Which Panican wants to hand me my “I told you so” award? Trump has been running the same negotiation playbook forever. Pressure, escalation, chaos… then leverage a deal. We’ve watched it happen again and again. This wasn’t complicated. It was basic pattern recognition. While some people were panicking, others were paying attention. Now we move to Phase 2. Iran is largely neutralized. The Strait is reopening. The war is de-escalating. Markets are already reacting. That’s not a small win—that’s a global reset. This forces movement everywhere else. Russia and Ukraine get pulled closer to a real negotiation. China has to think twice about Taiwan when the U.S. just proved it will apply overwhelming pressure when it matters. And for the first time in decades, there is a real path to stepping back from endless Middle East entanglements. Look at the region. It’s no longer just Israel. You’re seeing alignment across countries that historically were nowhere near each other. The world is safer today than it was yesterday—and it’s about to get even safer over the next few months as this locks in. And yes, let’s be very clear about this: This happened because of Donald Trump. Not the pundits. Not the podcasters. Not the panic merchants. Trump. Now comes the real opportunity. With global stability improving, we can finally refocus inward at full speed. Immigration, housing, affordability, healthcare, infrastructure, AI, rebuilding American strength where it actually matters. We are entering a new American era—economically, technologically, and yes, even in space exploration. This is what the start of a new frontier feels like. So here’s the assignment: Put your phone down. Go build something. Start a family. Create. Get outside. Do something real. Stop listening to the Panicans. Onward 🇺🇸

UPDATE: Iran has AGREED to open the Strait for two weeks. Absolute masterclass by Trump. He got the Strait open without any help from Europe and without any boots on the ground. Wow.
Pro-America | Politics & Markets@Pro__Trading

President Trump said the two week cease-fire is conditional on Iran opening up the Strait. Do we have confirmation Iran is willing to do so? Because thus far, they haven't given any indication that they are.

In the best case scenario, Trump struck a deal to reopen a Strait that was open before the pointless war he started, with the IRGC demonstrating its control over the Strait and potentially extracting fees plus sanctions relief. Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged. U.S. standing in the world obliterated. U.S. munitions badly depleted. Hundreds of billions spent. Prices up everywhere. More global economic fallout to come. Putin strengthened and enriched. Just a catastrophic situation even in the best of circumstances. A profoundly shameful episode in American history no matter what happens next.

Iran is declaring victory after Trump agreed to ceasefire, saying the U.S. adopted its terms—and it's hard to see it any other way. Iran’s leadership is openly celebrating what it calls a “crushing defeat” for the United States after Donald Trump agreed to a two-week ceasefire and acknowledged using Iran’s own 10-point framework as the basis for negotiations. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council says the U.S. has effectively accepted its core demands—including continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, acceptance of uranium enrichment, lifting sanctions, and even discussions of compensation and U.S. troop withdrawal. Essentially, Trump has, for now, given Iran everything they asked for. Iran’s Foreign Ministry confirmed the same framework, stating safe passage through the Strait will now be coordinated under Iranian control during the ceasefire period. So looking at statements from the U.S. and Iran, it seems clear Trump didn’t bring Iran to the table on U.S. terms—he appears to have moved negotiations onto Iran’s terms. After days of escalating rhetoric, including Trump's threat that "a whole civilization will die tonight," Trump has now reversed course and is embracing the very proposal Iran put forward that a U.S. official called "maximalist" just yesterday. For now, the world should breathe a sigh of relief Trump has backed down, though it feels that this was less of a "TACO"—and more of a surrender.
