🚨 HUGE DEVELOPMENT: Sec. Markwayne Mullin announces DHS is drawing up plans to BLOCK ALL international flights into sanctuary cities by ending Customs screening there This would DEVASTATE those cities. Mullin is doing it as a direct result of sanctuaries refusing to cooperate GOOD! We need consequences where it hurts! "Why are we processing international flights into the airport there? And we are currently, which we're not issuing it yet, but we're currently drawing up plans to say, listen — in these sanctuary cities where the local radical left Democrats aren't allowing us to do our job and enforce federal laws, then we shouldn't be processing international flights into their cities either, because they don't want us to enforce immigration, but they want us to process immigration at their facilities!"

BREAKING NEWS: Washington @Nationals Director of Community Relations Admits on Hidden Camera to Active Religious Discrimination Against Starting Pitcher Trevor Williams, Surveillance of Nationals Fans’ Google History, and Segregated LGBTQ+ Corporate Meetings to an O’Keefe Undercover Journalist “One of our pitchers, Trevor Williams. He’s super Christian-Catholic, all these tattoos that mean a lot.” “The Dodgers had a group… who were drag queens who sometimes dressed up as nuns. He [Trevor Williams] went on social media like… ‘This is my religion. You all are mocking it.’” “Because of that, we [Washington Nationals] don’t use him [Trevor Williams] on social [media].” “Like, when they're like, is a hot dog a sandwich? And like, the players come up, you know what I mean? Like, we [Nationals] don't ask him [Trevor Williams].” “If you ever come to a Nats game, there is someone on our team who is responsible for figuring out everything about you and assigning you into a bucket of people. If you’re accepting cookies, we’re getting a plethora of your Google history.” @heyhuds @MeLlamoTrevor @NationalsComms @MLB @MLB_PR

People love to rip on Minnesota. But I love living here. – Top 10 in happiness – Top 5 in life expectancy – Top 4 in quality of life – Top 2 in where to raise a family Throw in 4 major sports teams and getting to experience all 4 seasons, and it's nowhere near as bad as people make it sound.

Making the case that a woman with tens of millions of dollars, a bestselling book, and guest appearances on every major network & talk show is experiencing deeply-rooted misogyny that "no amount of inherited wealth or social status" has protected her from. 😕
Grace Panetta@grace_panetta

on the surface, Belle Burden’s “Strangers” is about marriage and infidelity, but it’s a really stark exposé of the deeply-rooted misogyny that persists in elite WASP circles and how as a woman in that world, no amount of inherited wealth or social status exempts you from it

Good rainy morning from Arlington National Cemetery. Specifically, the final resting place of your hero husband Staff Sgt. Alan Shaw. His grave now has some fresh roses placed in front of it, alongside two American flags, a reminder that Americans truly appreciate his sacrifice. God bless you and your family on this Memorial Day 🙏🏻🇺🇸

This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60. SSG Alan W. Shaw Section 60, Grave 8451 B Co 1/12 Cav, 1st Cavalry Division November 10, 1975 - February 9, 2007 There’s just something about knowing people still stop by, still say his name, still remember. 🇺🇸⭐🇺🇸

@NoahRayWrites @annbauerwriter May I suggest that studying art theory is pointless. Beauty is truthful (and subjective in the eye of the beholder.) You don’t reason your way into appreciating it.

One of the clearest signs that someone doesn't understand art fundamentals is when they don't understand the difference between style and ugliness. There are ugly children's books out there. Especially a lot of the new ones. I know because I have a young child and do my fair share of searching. Some people look at Carle and say its ugly and lazy. While many of his copycats are, Eric is not. He pioneered his own esthetic style which is immediately identifiable as his. Eric's attention to detail is what gives away his skill and craft. His art isn't ugly- it is simple, and a beautiful marriage of form and value. Not recognizing that is a show of ignorance; I say that as someone who once thought it too. I am begging people to study some basic art theory. I'm not a banana taped to the wall is art guy. I believe there are objective measures of quality and Eric meets them in his ability to craft.
Megha@megha_lilly

Instead of getting the Hungry Caterpillar for my children I got “A Butterfly is Patient”. Why? Because children deserve beauty rather than ugliness. It nourishes their spirit in a healthy way. Ugly art is junk food poison for your children. You were told to get Hungry Caterpillar by an insalubrious culture. Resist. Get your children books that depict nature in its true resplendent beauty in anatomically correct images that will help them identify things like caterpillars and butterflies in the real world. This is what they deserve. Let the blobby artists starve on their own egos.

@annbauerwriter As a former Minnesotan - mother of a young adult with Down syndrome I was forced to answer questions about her gender and pronouns during our guardianship annual check ins. Why? The state ramped up these inquiries during COVID. Ahhhh… the warm embrace of socialism.

When I became fully Catholic, my circle shrank considerably. People I once spoke to daily suddenly started taking days to respond, or they didn’t seem to know how to talk to me anymore. After the initial “Wooooooow. Okay.” wore off, I decided to take Proverbs 27:17 to heart and seek out people strong enough to walk through the narrow gate with me: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” I’ve had to get comfortable very quickly with going stag to events and doing things that make me uncomfortable or nervous. I’ve gotten very involved in my parish, but it has been difficult finding and mingling with people my age, so I’m branching out to events around town. There's one tonight that I'm going to and I'm a bit nervous. No wingman. No emotional support secondary reason for being there. Just me, trying to be faithful AND sociable...wish me luck.
