Customer service is not a thing any more. Besides my @PokemonCenterUS @FedEx issue, I have been dealing with more insane “customer service.” On 3/3 I ordered new contacts from @1800CONTACTS I was told as my lenses are a special kind, it would take up to 21 days for them to ship. Ok….cool. Well, I finally get my order on 3/31 after having to email multiple times to find out where the order was. Well......the order contained an EMPTY contact case and nothing else. No lenses. So, I contacted them and of course I was offered useless hollow platitudes. I was told they would expedite a replacement order at no charge. Well....the 21 days came and went and still no lenses so on 4/28 I emailed them again to find out what was going on and of course told the same line that they could take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. When I pointed out I was told they would be expedited the blew me off and said it is up to who manufactures the lenses. I then contacted them on 5/4 via email once again to check on the status. I received another email saying it is out of their hands....blah blah blah. The usual. Then, today, I get an email from them saying that they should be receiving my lenses in 5-7 days from the supplier and then they will ship them out to me. Utterly ridiculous display of service. Will not be using them again for sure. Last Monday I ordered a very cool upscale cigar torch. Paid extra for 2 day shipping. Friday I receiver notification that the item will be here Wednesday the 6th.....today. Yea.....defiantly not two day shipping. And....tracking shows that it is still moving through USPS system in Seattle....so I will actually get it tomorrow as mail has come already.....even though tracking still shows today. Will they refund my shipping fee? So far no answer....... What ever happened to companies providing actual customer service? Once they get your money they no longer give a damn about you. Getting so tired of it.

@1800CONTACTS I just left a bad review on TO. If there were less than a star, I’d use it. There’s a complete lack of coordination between the chat, phone, and email customer service. I negotiated a discount for reordering the same contact lenses I had ordered before.

@_UncleMax We're sorry if you had a frustrating experience! (But we love you too.) It's a law that we have to have a copy of your prescription (which you can get from the exam) or put your order through verification with your doctor before sending lenses. Let us know if you need any help!

@straight_red @COLINREESE Great question! Our ExpressExam is meant to renew your current contact lens prescription that's still working well. If you can't see the exam clearly and "cheat", you'd only be doing yourself a disservice since you'd be getting lenses that no longer work well for you!

I did an online vision exam with @1800CONTACTS because I need a slightly stronger prescription. I obviously couldn’t read all the letters since I need a new prescription. They emailed me that since I didn’t get all the letters right, they can’t issue me a prescription. @straight_red @BoomerRichey
