@RazielWait Yes in various ways. 1) transaction fees 2) reserve for every $XRP account involved 3) reserve for the trustlines of $OUSG Every account needs XRP thus every account accepts XRP, the only asset where thats the case on the ledger.

I checked Ondo on the $XRP Ledger, who is a native issuer of US treasuries here. And indeed, i found 2 transactions by Ripple that seem to redeem OUSG recently, as part of the MasterCard and JPM cross border/bank settlement funnel ! The transactions settled for fractions of a penny in a few seconds.

@BernieSanders Well that seems grossly oversimplified. There is no accounting for inflation, taxes (cause it would depend on the state, ask CA), and increased opperating costs in this comparison. There isn’t a direct 2011 to 2026 comparison without those and probably other factors.

Instead of relying on advanced stealth gear or electronic countermeasures, they turned to absurdly simple, almost cartoonish tactics and succeeded Some Marines cartwheeled and rolled across 300 meters of open ground. Others concealed themselves under ordinary cardboard boxes and slowly inched forward. One soldier even disguised himself as a small fir tree, shuffling gradually toward the objective. Remarkably, every Marine reached the target without ever triggering the AI sensors. The system had been trained extensively on normal human walking and running patterns, but it had no reference for these bizarre movements. Because the Marines’ actions fell completely outside the AI’s learned understanding of “human behavior,” they were effectively invisible to it. This exercise offers a timely lesson for the defense sector: no matter how advanced military AI becomes, it can still be outmaneuvered by human ingenuity, unconventional thinking, and old-fashioned manual tactics. He's not wrong about the math. But let's audit the track record first. This is the same David Schwartz who said he didn't think XRP would ever hit $0.25. He started selling at $0.10 because it "seemed insane." His words. Not ours. He even admitted publicly — "I have a poor prediction record." We respect that honesty. We're going to use it. Here's what the efficient market argument misses. Markets price what they understand. Right now the market doesn't fully understand what's coming. Use case 1 — DTCC DTCC processes approximately $2 quadrillion in securities annually. Their own patent — US 2025/0078162 A1 — names Ripple DLT by name as the destination ledger. Hidden Road is already live on DTCC's NSCC clearing $3 trillion annually on XRPL rails. The market hasn't priced that yet. @JoelKatz @CryptoWendyO Which means it is unrealized as you have not collected the money from those “gains” on paper. When you sell the house, then you pay tax on the realized sale. You don’t get taxed on the enjoyment of the house. That is a figment of imagination.

@CryptoWendyO This taxes realized gains. It doesn't tax unrealized gains because it doesn't depend on the amount you paid for the house. It taxes realized gains because the tax is based on the value of the use and enjoyment you realized from owning the house over that year.

So basically you put everything you own into a house and are taxed as the value fluctuates You pay on unrealized gain But you don’t get anything back for unrealized loses No one will be able to afford property and UBI and poverty will take over
