@stphnmaher Let’s see if the media (and the Liberals) allow the 51st state silliness to be put behind us now, or do they keep milking it for Liberal partisan advantage?

Trump's respect for King Charles possibly quashed desire to annex Canada, says royal commentator. US president was unaware Charles is Canada's head of state, Robert Hardman writes in new book cbc.ca/news/politics/… Find out more at nationalnewswatch.com

@CheriDiNovo So you’re actually arguing to keep gas prices at current levels. Federal taxes account for almost 30c/L on the price of gas. If it’s such a bad idea, why have most European and Asian countries suspended their gas taxes? In Canada both fed and prov gov’ts should suspend gas taxes.
English

@sarobertsonca Unless @robertbenzie (and the rest of the media) are opening round #15 of manufactured internal caucus decent (likely), then he should also report who those CPC MPs think should lead the party.

Today’s the last day to vote in advance polls in the federal by-elections in Scarborough Southwest, University-Rosedale, and Terrebonne.
They will be open until 9pm.
If you want better, the answer is participation.

@natnewswatch Thank God for the monarchy!! Liberals can’t defend Canada, but the King can.

Bro gave up invading Canada because it's too much work
Clash Report@clashreport
Trump has said he will not invade Canada, backing away from earlier talk of making it the “51st state.” Speaking to biographer Robert Hardman, he joked that Canada’s history makes it unrealistic: “They’ve got 200 years of history and all that ‘Oh, Canada’ thing… you can’t deal with that in three and a half years. I guess it’s not going to happen.”
English

@gator_gum No not really. If you see nothing wrong in usurping the voters’ democratic choices in up to 14 ridings, that says more about you and the Liberals than it does about the CPC.

@nationalpost @financialpost Because after a decade of prosperity-wrecking Liberal policies, Canadians are that much poorer than Americans, and because of all the Liberal taxes, our gas is that much higher than it is for Americans.

@natnewswatch @RyanTumilty And the media is just giddy at the prospect. So much for an independent and neutral media.

These three byelections could give Mark Carney a majority government, @RyanTumilty reports thestar.com/politics/feder…

@BagelPolling Hard to know for sure, but this looks like 7-8 pt lead overall?

This won't likely happen but I would be very curious what the vote intention of my primary professions sector is. My gut feeling is it would probably be the most right wing of university degree sectors.
My secondary profession is easy there are like 15 pollsters in Canada.

@Cappy_Nate People can quibble/deny the stated cost of $90 billion, but that’s what’s been put out there by Alto, by the federal Liberals. At that cost, people are right to ask questions, and not surprisingly, choose to oppose it, favour of investing that money elsewhere.
