@stphnmaher Let’s see if the media (and the Liberals) allow the 51st state silliness to be put behind us now, or do they keep milking it for Liberal partisan advantage?

A retired couple that has a combined income of 190k gets the full OAS but we claw back the Child Benefit almost fully at 150k annual income So we are more generous with welfare for old people than for families So backward. And yet no parties ran on fixing this!

@CheriDiNovo So you’re actually arguing to keep gas prices at current levels. Federal taxes account for almost 30c/L on the price of gas. If it’s such a bad idea, why have most European and Asian countries suspended their gas taxes? In Canada both fed and prov gov’ts should suspend gas taxes.

Sorry Poilievre: Taxes aren't driving gas prices up, profits for big oil are though (capitalizing on war)

@sarobertsonca Unless @robertbenzie (and the rest of the media) are opening round #15 of manufactured internal caucus decent (likely), then he should also report who those CPC MPs think should lead the party.

Robert Benzie: “I spoke to some Tories last week who say [Pierre Poilievre’s] a 15-point drag on them and they're worried about losing their seats. So when MPs start worrying about losing their seats because of the leader, that's when the leader is in jeopardy."

Today’s the last day to vote in advance polls in the federal by-elections in Scarborough Southwest, University-Rosedale, and Terrebonne. They will be open until 9pm. If you want better, the answer is participation. elections.ca/content.aspx?s…

@gator_gum No not really. If you see nothing wrong in usurping the voters’ democratic choices in up to 14 ridings, that says more about you and the Liberals than it does about the CPC.

#BREAKING There is a reporting circulating that up to 10 MPs are considering crossing the floor. 10. Prepare for RW Influencers to be in absolute meltdown mode this week.

@nationalpost @financialpost Because after a decade of prosperity-wrecking Liberal policies, Canadians are that much poorer than Americans, and because of all the Liberal taxes, our gas is that much higher than it is for Americans.

@Cappy_Nate People can quibble/deny the stated cost of $90 billion, but that’s what’s been put out there by Alto, by the federal Liberals. At that cost, people are right to ask questions, and not surprisingly, choose to oppose it, favour of investing that money elsewhere.
