As a paramedic I will not pretend to see spiders when a patient is hallucinating about spiders. I will also not pretend you are a different gender than what you actually are. It is ethically and morally wrong to play into someone’s psychosis. Thats just fact. It’s also wrong to put anyone who has mental problems in positions of authority. Anyone who believes men can be women should be removed from those positions immediately. For everyone’s safety. God bless

@rushicrypto Businesses don't need those things. They are given those things as incentives to bring their businesses to communities so they will employ people from those communities instead of employing people somewhere else. This is done at the city, state and federal levels to bring jobs.

If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need so many tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, legal protections, bailouts, and trade protections? When citizens need these things, why is it socialism?

Wonderfully clear ruling- that anyone is entitled to hold privately transphobic views, but to repeatedly misgender someone on the basis of those views is 'gratuitous, disrespectful and unnecessary', and did not advance the defense. A win for basic manners. 👏🏳️‍⚧️

I really hate the “no person who works a full-time job should live in poverty” discourse. It should simply be that nobody deserves to live in poverty. We have to let go of the idea that we work in exchange for our worth. People are innately worthy and deserving of the basics.

@nyaraVT Real pride in yourself doesn't require validation or compulsion from others. Also, calling women "cis" only separates you further from your goal of being seen and accepted as a woman. How can someone "accept who you are" when you couldn't even do that for yourself?

Realising that the majority of society will never perceive me, a trans woman, like they perceive cis women is incredibly painful. This was one of the reasons why I never wanted to transition. I'm glad I did it but.. I just wish we didn't have to earn our validity as women.

@OrevaZSN It's funny watching all the people on here complaining about 'others' not doing things to help. What have each of you done individually to help? If every person commenting helped a needy family, we wouldn't have to wait for "billionaires" to do anything.

The most annoying thing about being human right now is knowing we already have the intelligence and resources to end world hunger, fight climate change, and cure cancer, but greed and billionaires keep millions suffering instead. The wasted human potential is heartbreaking.

How many women, when asked what they want for their birthday or mothers day, respond "I don't want anything" when they actually DO? Many. Perhaps that's what happened here. Communication is key.

I hope my husband had a very uncomfortable day at work today. I hope all of his female coworkers asked what he did for me for Mother’s Day. And I hope he had to tell them the truth. Nothing. No flowers. No card. No breakfast. No last-minute grocery store bouquet grabbed on the way home. Nothing at all. Meanwhile, I am the mother of his children. The same children I carried, delivered, and continue to keep alive on a daily basis. I didn’t even want anything extravagant. A handwritten card, a cup of coffee, or somebody else loading the dishwasher would have been enough. Instead, the day came and went like it was a random Tuesday. She obviously communicates more with strangers online than with her own husband. Keeping score isn't love, it's a game to be "won" or more likely "lost", as illustrated by the OP.

In 1994 Susan Smith strapped her 3 year old and 14 month old kids into their car seats and rolled them into a lake in Union County, South Carolina, to drown. I watched in horror when the van was pulled from the lake and the 3 year old was holding the hand of the 14 month old. My oldest was 4 and my youngest was 2. I grabbed them and squeezed them hard and cried. It was later revealed that she did this because a man she was having an affair with wanted to end the affair and stated the reason was, he did not want kids thinking this would end it. If you advocate for abortion, you can make no moral judgment on her or say that this was wrong, because she made the choice that was right for her so that she could have the life that she wanted and the kids had become a hindrance and inconvenience.

If she were sinless, then she could have saved herself or could have been the perfect sacrifice instead of Jesus. Without Christ, she would not be alive in heaven. There has only been one sinless being, Jesus.
