Lesotho 🇱🇸 wants to renegotiate its water deal with South Africa 🇿🇦 . Through the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, water flows from Lesotho to Gauteng, including Johannesburg. Right now, Lesotho earns about $200 million a year, around 10% of its economy. But the deal was signed in 1986, and Lesotho says it’s outdated. They now want higher royalties and better compensation. Talks are expected to begin in April 2026.

Wena @MbuyiseniNdlozi, ever since you were removed as spokesperson in 2019 of the EFF, you have consistently treated the President in bad faith. We still remember the things you were saying about the President in the corners with your friends. You failed then, and you will fail again now. You are a small boy crying for attention.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi@MbuyiseniNdlozi

Hands Off Gen. Mkhwanazi! A society that doesn’t protect whistleblowers is doomed to become a mafia state! They have already killed Babita. What do you think they will do to Mkhwanazi? He must be shielded from all petty, egotistical, pompous & parasitic attacks! All who try to reduce his mission to “personality fight ”, or even factions within the SAPS are all wrong. Journalists, politicians & many experts have been peddling of this line. What this line seeks to do, is to neutralise the correct momentum against SAPS generals who have protected, advanced & benefitted from organised criminals with the endorsed of top politicians. Mkhwanazi’s mission is simple: Organised criminals are embedded with top politicians & top generals, and they must all be exposed and meet the full might of the law! Fact: All who oppose Gen. Mkhwanazi are not with the people! That is the bottom line! If Mkhwanazi doesn’t win this battle, which is a peoples battle, then ours will become a banana republic, a mafia state ruled by men with guns! Society must defend itself!

It's interesting how far everything shifted in South Africa: Even popular apolitical figures like Robert Marawa are now spewing the most hateful racial rhetoric. 10 years ago, everyone was still "Rainbow believers." Now that white people dare to say "we don't like it when there are groups chanting that we should be killed," the vast majority of black public figures rather side with the groups calling for genocide than condemning these groups. And people who do point out what should be obvious - that calls for genocide are not OK - like Roets does in the below tweet, are being attacked with vitriol. Yet, these same individuals will tell you that the EFF represents a small minority, but still, they will support that "small minority" themselves. Ironic.

Give up on fighting your imaginary enemy. If we had "power", the street lights would work, and be mostly clean, running water and garbage collection would become normal again, we would restore and grow our industries to improve our economy and get as many people employed as possible... who knows, life might actually get better if you let it. ...but no no, keep ranting about Apartheid, by all means, don't let me stop you.

South Africa plans to launch a $34 billion high-speed bullet train network connecting major cities like Johannesburg, Musina, and eThekwini, aiming to transform long-distance travel. The first phase will link KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, and Limpopo, significantly reducing travel times between key economic hubs. Gauteng province will invest $6.3 billion over five years to modernise rail systems and support the new network. The project has attracted strong private sector interest, with nearly 30 companies expressing involvement as feasibility studies and environmental assessments continue.

𝗭𝗜𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗕𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗡-𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦. Last year I travelled through Zimbabwe in both my Zimbabwean and my South African vehicles. When I drove the Zimbabwean car I was never stopped at roadblocks, but when I drove the South African vehicle I was stopped at every roadblock and asked to produce car papers and TIPs, only to be left to go once they recognized me. This type of harassment is also common in Mozambique. I used to do at least one road trip to Mozambique once a year, driving from Johannesburg, but since I realized the harassment by Mozambican police, I stopped going to Mozambique. I will also never drive my South African cars to Zim which means I won’t be spending money in the rest points along the Masvingo road. Imagine how many South Africans also won’t make the crossing. In the early 90s before sanctions, so many South African vehicles drove through Zim with caravans, camping gear and trailers for holiday. We don’t see those anymore, yet South Africa has a huge market of campers, hikers and caravan enthusiasts. If we in Zimbabwe want to attract local and foreign overland tourism, hikers, bikers and campers, our police need to stop inconveniencing tourists with too many roadblocks. We are not a police state, so we need to reduce the number of roadblocks in the country and make travel more efficient and less disruptive. We can still police roads without using draconian roadblocks and very intrusive interrogations by police.

South Africans are busy feeling sorry for this guy, saying he is tired 😂. This Debonairs Pizza employee should be fired with immediate effect! No matter how exhausted you are, this is totally unacceptable. You may find out he only did a 7 hour shift, he even decided to sit where customers could see him? Fire this person!

South Africa records 1,669 New Year’s Day births South Africa ushered in 2025 with the arrival of 1,669 babies born across all nine provinces on New Year’s Day, according to provisional birth statistics. Of the newborns, 871 were girls and 798 were boys, giving female births a slight national lead. Gauteng recorded the highest number of deliveries, with 396 babies born on January 1. The province saw an even gender split, with 198 boys and 198 girls. KwaZulu-Natal followed closely with 334 births, also evenly divided between boys and girls. Limpopo and the Eastern Cape reported 234 and 208 births respectively, with both provinces recording more girls than boys among the New Year’s arrivals. The Northern Cape registered the lowest number of births, with 50 babies born on the day. It was the only province where male births, at 28, exceeded female births, which stood at 22. Demographers say the figures offer an encouraging snapshot of the country’s newest generation, born on a day traditionally associated with hope and renewal. While the data is limited to a single day, it provides early insight into regional birth patterns as the year begins. Health authorities have congratulated families across the country who welcomed babies on January 1, marking a meaningful start to 2025 for both the newborns and the nation.

President Ramaphosa says SA enters 2026 with “renewed hope” and promises more government action to solve the country’s challenges. He doesn't seem to understand that his remedy to the crisis is, in actual fact, the source thereof. SA doesn’t suffer from too little government intervention — it suffers from too much. The solution isn’t more central control. It’s decentralisation, community freedom, and self-governance.

"This new designation lets Secretary Rubio slap sanctions, visa bans, asset freezes, export controls, and more on any country wrongfully detaining Americans – turning their blackmail tactic into a massive liability."
Lawrence E McDonald@macdee_ANC

🚨 BIG WIN FOR AMERICANS ABROAD: Trump Signs Historic "State Sponsor of Wrongful Detention" Executive Order – No More Hostage Diplomacy! 🇺🇸💪 Remember that outrageous ANC raid on the US refugee processing center in Johannesburg just weeks ago? South African cops stormed in, briefly detained/questioned American officials, intimidated persecuted Afrikaner applicants fleeing farm murders and discrimination, deported Kenyan staff, and even doxed US personnel by leaking passport details – putting lives at risk! The State Dept called it "unacceptable harassment" and warned of "severe consequences." Now we know why the ANC won't pull that stunt again: President Trump just armed America with a nuclear-level tool against rogue regimes that mess with our citizens. This new designation lets Secretary Rubio slap sanctions, visa bans, asset freezes, export controls, and more on any country wrongfully detaining Americans – turning their blackmail tactic into a massive liability. No more free rides for adversaries like Iran, Russia, China... or anti-American governments like South Africa's ANC that align with them while targeting US operations. Trump's putting Americans FIRST – protecting our people overseas, standing up for persecuted minorities like Afrikaners (priority resettlement program rolling strong!), and making tyrants pay. The ANC poked the bear one too many times: aid cuts, tariffs hammering exports, ambassador delays, G20 snubs – and now this raid backlash could trigger even heavier pain. South Africa chose BRICS dictators, Iran warships in Cape Town, ICJ attacks on Israel, open borders for illegals, and harassment of America. Result? Economy tanking, rand crashing, jobs fleeing. Real South Africans – especially Afrikaners facing real threats – deserve better than this failing regime. Keep applying for resettlement, brothers. America's door is open because Trump fights for the forgotten and persecuted. No more weakness! MAGA forever. America Strong. 🇺🇸🇿🇦 #TrumpProtectsAmericans #WrongfulDetentionEO #AfrikanerRefugees #ANCRaidBackfire #SevereConsequences #AmericaFirst #SouthAfricaFAFO #ProAfrikaner #BetterSA @realDonaldTrump @SecRubio @StateDept

Foreign Policy Clown Show – ICJ Farce, Iran in Cape, G20 Snub 🇿🇦🤡 South Africa's 2025 foreign policy: A total ANC-led disaster. Dragging Israel to ICJ on bogus "genocide" claims while cozying up to Iran, Hamas, Russia—now Iranian warships docking in Cape Town for BRICS Mosi III drills. Alienating the West (Trump tariffs incoming, AGOA jobs lost), G20 delegates snubbed by US, and recognizing Somaliland slammed as "interference" hypocrisy. Borders porous, illegals surging, economy tanking—rand crashed, unemployment at 33%, GDP crawling under 1%. Afrikaners and minorities suffer most: No voice in this anti-West madness, farms insecure amid crime wave. Ramaphosa's "solidarity" with dictators burns bridges with real investors. Praise Trump for calling it out—sanctions on SA if we host terror navies? Deserved! Time for a reset: Ditch BRICS delusion, partner with winners for jobs, security. South Africa deserves prosperity, not pariah status. #ICJFarce #IranPuppets #ANCForeignFail #BetterSA #AfrikanerStrong
