on a similar note, as an artist i really struggle with thinking that i can’t or or won’t do my ideas justice. if im very emotionally attached to the idea i get scared to even attempt trying to convey that, at the chance that it might fall completely short of what i envisioned.

one thing i regret not learning sooner: as a soon as you have an idea you should start creating. i used to wait till i wrangled with the concept more but only ended up losing it to time. there’s no right time for your ideas. start creating or they’ll stay ideas for eternity

@dimithryv He’s missed the mark. It’s absolutely a real job but it’s widely being used incorrectly because it sounds cool.
Unless you’re directing every aspect of an entire brand you’re not a creative director, photographers are notorious for this.
