Everything feels like a scam now. Restaurants adding mandatory service charges that “aren’t the tip,” stores asking you to round up for "charity" at checkout, iPads asking for 25% tips on takeout orders… people are getting exhausted by the constant nickel-and-diming

I haven't been able to drive the new software FSD v14.3.3 yet as I'm going to work for a few days. After reading the release notes I want to say something about the gamification of FSD intervention free streaks. In my opinion, this incentivizes not disengaging when it might be necessary. Keeping an intervention free streak going is not important. Driving safely is the most important. We are still supervising these vehicles. I implore everyone to not let this display, or keeping a streak alive push you into making a bad decision. Take care of yourself and those around you. Supervise safely.

Let's talk about Mitch McConnell a man who has been in Congress since January 3, 1985. That's 41 years of collecting a government paycheck while making life measurably worse for the rest of us. This is the same man who: -Spent 8 years refusing to cooperate with President Obama on virtually everything blocking a Supreme Court nominee, grinding legislation to a halt all fueled by what many observers called barely-concealed racial resentment. -Went on national television and told America that Donald Trump couldn't be trusted with the nuclear codes... then sprinted back to kiss the ring the moment it was politically convenient. -Enthusiastically helped push through legislation designed to drag this country back 50 years gutting voting rights, packing courts, and stripping protections from the most vulnerable Americans. And now? Now this man who has to be walked through the halls of Congress by his own staff, who freezes mid-sentence on live television, who looks like he should be getting bingo night announcements instead of security briefings refuses to let go of power. America has some of the oldest political representation in the developed world. And arguably some of the greediest. These aren't public servants. They are power hoarders clinging to relevance long past the point of usefulness, making decisions that affect millions of lives they will never have to live. At what point do we demand term limits? At what point do we say that a democracy cannot function when it's run by people whose primary motivation is self-preservation? 41 years is not a career in public service. It's an occupation.

I’ve been spending a lot of time with the Cybertruck over the last couple of weeks. I can confidently say this is the best Tesla ever made. FSD has a lot to do with it. It feels like an autonomous land yacht that can take on anything. The way this truck drives, soaks up bumps, offers tons of room for humans and cargo, and drives itself is hard to wrap my head around. I haven’t driven the truck manually for more than a mile since I’ve had it. A pickup truck that drives itself pretty much flawlessly should not exist so soon in my lifetime, but it does. Crazy.
