fair enough. i’m not sure i’d start him against dallas just given wedgewood has a better track record against them this season but he understands the importance of getting blackwood on track. if he has a solid game tomorrow i think that would do a lot for him

@vmaughan3 @citchmook I think it’s 90% locked up and would take Avs to win it. But everyone glossing over it make me worried. I think Avs are looking ahead, as evidenced by last night. Saturday needs to be a must win and give the team ability to rest guys. The starters shouldn’t play the last game

Col hasn't had difficult matchups like VGK and LA in a long time. Edm is catching a break for once. Col has 1 conference final appearance in 22 years.
Edm has a conference final appearance in 4 of their previous 5. Congrats on the cup in their only appearance fwiw.

@mathewjdp The current playoff format is solely to help keep Edmonton and McDavid relevant and give them a chance. Under a 1-8 format they prolly have 0 conference finals appearances

@mathewjdp @21mFrench Context is everything... Edmonton faced a beaten down Dallas team that had to go through the Avs and Jets... Oilers only faced a good team in Vegas... Kings were majorly flawed and everyone knew it. You guys did well, sure. But this year is a straight up gift.
