🚨 CANCER BREAKTHROUGH? THIS TREATMENT COMBO IS TURNING HEADS… What if the secret isn’t one treatment… but the right mix? New research shows that combining therapies like hormone therapy (androgen deprivation therapy) with targeted drugs (such as androgen receptor inhibitors) or radiation therapy may help prostate cancer patients live longer, especially when the cancer returns. Doctors are now using these combinations to hit the cancer from multiple angles — slowing it down more effectively than a single treatment alone. It’s not a cure for everyone… but for many, it’s a powerful new chance. Hope is growing — and it’s real. Source
National Cancer Institute. Combination therapies for recurrent prostate cancer improve survival.

🚨 THIS WILL MAKE YOUR BLOOD BOIL: A hardworking mom making $60K can’t afford her daughter’s medical procedure. But get this…if she takes a LOWER paying job, suddenly her child qualifies for government help. So doing better = punished… and struggling more = rewarded? And in Denver? Migrants are getting FREE healthcare. How does ANY of this make sense?! This system is broken.

🚨This mom loses it on her son at the playground for bullying a severely autistic kid — and the whole thing is caught on camera. “How dare you! He is severely autistic — he does not understand! I’m not raising you to be a bully! ”She lays into him publicly: “That’s not nice… How dare you make him feel like that!” Was this good parenting or a total meltdown?

“They called me the ugliest woman in the world. But I never let those words decide who I am.” I was born with an extremely rare disease—so rare that there are only a handful of cases in the world. My body cannot gain weight, and my face doesn’t fit what people consider “normal.” But the greatest pain came when I was 17. One day, I found a video online. Someone had used my image to mock me. Millions of people had watched it. And the comments were like punches: they laughed at my face, my body, and some even wrote that it would have been better if I had never been born. For days, I stayed locked in my room. I thought my life was over. Then one day, in front of the mirror, I asked myself a question: “What if I could turn all of this into something bigger? What if my voice became stronger than the bullying?” That’s when it all began. I started speaking. Telling my story. Getting on stages, writing. Sharing not my pain, but my courage. I discovered that my true strength wasn’t in my appearance, but in the fire that grew inside me every time someone tried to extinguish it. Today, I’ve spoken in front of thousands of people. I’ve written books. Appeared on television. But the most important thing is this: I’ve helped others to look at themselves with love, to not let themselves be defined by what others say. Because I learned something fundamental: Value doesn’t come from a screen. It doesn’t come from cruel comments. Value is what you choose. Every day. Through what you build from pain. You are not what others see. You are what you choose to become. — Lizzie Velásquez

In 2018, a 92-year-old Arizona woman shot and ki*led her 72-year-old son after he suggested she move into a care home. Anna Mae Blessing was arrested in July 2018 for the sh*oting death of her 72-year-old son Thomas in Fountain Hills, Arizona, after he made plans to move her into an assisted living facility. She had concealed two handguns in her robe pockets and confronted Thomas and his girlfriend as they lay in bed asleep. When detectives asked what she could offer society, she replied: "I k*lled my son. The person I brought into this world." She died in jail hospice in January 2019 before her trial could begin.

New research shows breastfeeding helps prevent cancer. For decades, the link between breastfeeding and reduced breast cancer risk was well-documented but poorly understood. Recent breakthroughs have finally shed light on the biological mechanism behind this protection. Researchers discovered that breastfeeding induces a significant surge of specialized immune cells within breast tissue. These cells act as a localized defense system, potentially identifying and neutralizing malignant cells before they can develop into life-threatening tumors. The impact of this natural defense is substantial, with data indicating that the risk of breast cancer—the second most common cancer worldwide—drops by 4.3 percent for every year a woman breastfeeds. These protective benefits appear to be particularly pronounced for older mothers, offering a long-term health advantage. By understanding how the body recruits these immune sentinels, scientists hope to unlock new strategies for cancer prevention and better support maternal health outcomes. source: New Scientist.
