On most chains you can prove a single value, like a balance, against the state root. But anything resembling a real query runs through an indexer whose answer you can’t check yourself. GroveDB pulls that querying into the protocol, proofs included.

@TheDesertLynx @thejoneses222 Funny you tried Gulden, so did I. Before we had the Euro in 1999 our money in The Netherlands was called the Gulden. I never knew that the Gulden project was actually more than a gimmick. It’s cool it has been the inspiration for you to push for Dash-to-anything!

The Dash-to-Anything feature has been a vision ever since I tried Gulden, a minor crypto back in 2016, which had a similar feature in their wallets. You could enter a BTC address, or an IBAN number, and Bitcoin/fiat would be outgoing the same as if it was a native crypto transaction. That blew my mind. 🤯 That's why we've replicated much of that, and are expanding, on Dash.
