Help me understand the logic around the Higher Education Certificate (HEC) bridging course to university. In some cases, even students with 3 points are taken for the one year course, after which they can even be offered programmes in Medicine. Because some universities are largely about money, they take hundreds of students for HEC, whom they teach in huge classes of up to 300, and then ensure that they pass to join their university! @nche_uganda, what’s your view?
