@notShek @Jerphf1979 If you’re referring to the bridge crew on the Pillar of Autumn, it was like that in combat evolved back in 2001, once you kill Keyes the marines are unkillable, and they one shot you. That is not intended to be lore accurate.

@NilesSankey @revenant_MMXX They also confuse “lore accurate” and “fun”. The ODST bit was a brief (and rather poor) plot point. It’s more fun to come across a group of marines, trade weapons with them, have them rally around Chief and charge into battle etc.

@25ObjectiveBias It's an alright story if you take the time to read a trilogy that spoils literally every detail of the galaxy before the firing of the rings and ignore how much they butcher the chief. COD lite gameplay is more than a bit off and the art/sound direction was ass. 2/10 game at best

A week or so ago - I found some leftover Destiny prototype code in Halo: Reach (MCC and 360) which allowed for double and triple jump and I was able to fix it up. I asked @Just_Zoephie to check if this code was left in Halo Campaign Evolved, surprisingly it is and it works.

@Charlie6354 4 had a fantastic story that tied in well with the Forerunner trilogy that came out around the same time, 5 was a bad halo game, but had good gameplay in MP, infinite was a decent soft reboot but got fucked over. Halo Wars 2 is fantastic, and a lot of the books are incredible.

I really hope Halo Campaign evolved is a success. We need Halo 2 with the same treatment just for the 4 player coop. And We LONG overdue a Halo 3 Remake. But sadly, people need to bitch about puddles and sprint.

@VeNoMzShibe And if you don’t like Sprint and ADS just don’t use it, and when you find the skull just turn them off. It’s not that big a deal and personally, I liked both, the sprint isn’t crazy. It’s just a nice 15 or 20% movement buff, and the ADS was one of the few good changes from H5.

@VeNoMzShibe The Assault Rifle is stronger than it was in CE, while the SMG fills the role of 60 round magazine spray and pray in the sandbox. Overall I think thats a positive change after playing the game.

Sprint, ADS, and 36 AR clip count should've been skulls, and not the other way around.
Having to find a skull to disable certain mechanics that have no business being in Halo is diabolical.
