I am concerned for Vahid Bani Amerian and Abolhassan Montazer, who are reportedly at risk of execution. See communication sent: spcommreports.ohchr.org/TMResultsBase/… Response received: spcommreports.ohchr.org/TMResultsBase/… Reports of executions continue to reach me amid the ongoing war and internet shutdown. I continue to receive information that others may also be at risk. I cannot name them without prior formal communication and consent. The ongoing internet shutdown makes independent monitoring extremely difficult. I call on the authorities to immediately halt all executions during this extremely difficult period and allow families access to those who are detained.

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States. The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

After the police told me I could walk through Washington Square Park during Khamenei's vigil, they quickly doubled back and pulled me out of a public space again. The Khamenei supporters formed a border wall to keep me out, go figure. Since I identified these same people at Anti ICE rallies. I also had my life threatened by one of them who later punched a local rapper, Kosher Dillz. From what I hear, the assailant was not actually arrested but was just given a summons date. Law and order is not the same in this city anymore. Citizens must be able to go through public spaces.
