Josef Prusa of Prusa Research has raised serious concerns about Bambu Lab’s Bambu Studio slicer software. The program, a fork of the open-source PrusaSlicer, incorporates a closed-source networking plugin that Prusa describes as an unauditable “black box” downloaded from a CDN and capable of remote replacement. Prusa says this is dangerous because Chinese laws require companies to help their intelligence agencies and share encryption keys, and slicers handle sensitive 3D design files used in research labs, universities, and defense work. He also claims that Bambu Lab is breaking the open-source license rules by adding this closed part.

If you are on a hill and stay in the same gear, the speed of the engine doesn't change, only the power it needs to sustain that speed does. But it's all semantics

The accelerator changes the speed of the engine, which is directly, or indirectly via a gearbox connected to the wheels. Engine braking in an ICE vehicle is similar to regen in an EV.

The proper scientific name for the gas pedal in an electric car is "accelerator". However, the scientific name for the other pedal is also "accelerator". Scientifically, "accelerate" means to "change speed", and both pedals do that. Actually, "accelerate" means "change speed and direction" of the vector. The third accelerator in the car is erroneously named the "steering wheel".

This has to be one of the most useful features of any modern car. A 💯 must have. Quality of cameras in G9 are insane and the way they managed to move image and make a precise transparency effect is absolute gold. It helps to navigate tiny spaces and lines with precision 🔥
