Sometimes I feel like I am taking crazy pills. We built a prop firm that doesn't have any of the BS rules that kill traders: ❌No consistency rules. ❌No news restrictions. ❌No trailing drawdowns. The word is slowly getting out and more traders are winning. But some are still falling for cheap challenges with 3% max drawdown.

Propfirms pushing traders into live trading aren't doing you a favour. You signed up for a simulated program with clear rules. Now you're being moved into a live environment with different terms, different conditions, before you've even seen your first payout. That's not an upgrade. That's a different product you didn't ask for. Sim-funded propfirms and live trading serve completely different purposes. The moment a propfirm conflates the two, ask yourself who benefits from that transition. Spoiler. It's not you.

@payeltrades Cafe can reverse trade the traders to have a healthy cash flow

A trading café is a really cool idea. You come in, sit down, and trade alongside other traders. Grab some snacks, drink coffee, have lunch together, and share a good laugh after trading hours. During slow market periods, you could even play indoor games or just hang out. It would be fun, relaxed, and socially engaging.. something traders usually miss. But from a business standpoint, it doesn’t seem very sustainable. The owner might have to run it at a loss, which is probably why we don’t see many such places. Maybe some have existed, but I’ve never really heard of one in cities like Delhi or Bangalore. Sure, there are corporate style trading offices or groups of 4 - 5 friends trading together in a room, but that’s different. A café where traders can walk in, socialize, and engage with like minded people? That’s rare. At the end of the day, it’s a cool idea.. just not very practical. It feels like something only a filthy rich trader or investor might build out of passion or boredom. Most people probably wouldn’t touch it from a business perspective.

blew all my accounts LMFAO. It was so dumb. I took a loss. I shut down my system. Bought evals and started trading them to pass and have backups. Lucid bought 10, half passed 6 Topstep bought 20, half passed 5 TPT bought 5, half passed 5 Cost $2,450 Don’t really mind it, but ong this wasn’t a good passing. I like a retard did not differentiate between FE and FF. Took a loss on funded bymistake and I was like fuck it, since it had 600DD left. HAD I JUST WAITED FOR A GOOD TRADE I could’ve recovered it easily. Nonetheless, those accounts made me good and I did 8x my money with them.

Like athletes, we must practice on & off the charts as so. Mental health, a solid routine, and a structured process are essential for maintaining consistency. It's nearly impossible to find anyone excelling at a high level over time without these foundations. My advice...... Start small. Tackle one habit at a time, then build from there. Gradually construct your routine step by step. For me, it was my sleep. Started going to bed just 5 minutes earlier each night and finding ways to improve it each week.

Okay, I've officially completed a Topstep speed run. I intentionally wanted to see what constraints a trader is under if they want to pass the eval and get their first payout ASAP. That experience did not feel great. I did NOT trade responsibly. Definitely not the way I would have with my own money (in terms of notional exposure relative to max drawdown). But I got a payout as fast as possible... My takeaways for now: 1) Yeah, props are a great opportunity. You can definitely get a solid "ROI" 2) This isn't trading. It just isn't. It's playing a game that somewhat resembles trading.
