I've seen a ton of discussion regarding the topic of gore in Grand Theft Auto 6, will it be toned down or will Rockstar carry over the realism from Red Dead Redemption 2? GTA V did actually have gore, but it was only limited to some cutscenes and encounters like this one. The reason why there wasn't any gore in NPCs was probably due to hardware limitations for the time. GTA 6 will most likely be rated M for mature, the same rating as Red Dead Redemption 2 so I don't see a reason why Rockstar would tone it down.
