I asked this girl out on Monday, her name is Halimat. I thought she was just playing with me and wasn’t really interested because her reaction and body language felt off, so I pulled back and locked up. Two days later, I walked up to another girl while she was buying something, talked to her, told her I liked her and would love her to be my girlfriend. The next thing she said was, “Aunty Halimat boyfriend yin toast me oo!” Turns out the girl is halimat sister, meanwhile Halimat had already told all her friends and sisters about me and she never give me answer to my proposal oo. I was so stuck and embarrassed that I started praying for the ground to open up and swallow me😂 She later said yes and we often joke about the incident 😂
