Father, we thank You for this day You've given us, the moments that made us smile and the ones that tested our patience.
Thank You for the breath in our lungs, for the people who showed us kindness, and for the small graces we almost walked right past.
We release the day now, Lord, the things that frustrated us, the words we wish we could take back, the weight we carried longer than we should have. We lay it all down.
Give us sweet, restoring rest tonight. Let our bodies relax completely, our minds slow down, and our hearts find calm as we close our eyes.
Bless our country, Father. Guard the families working hard each day, protect the service members standing watch, and give wisdom to the leaders making decisions that touch us all. Pour out Your mercy and peace on this nation.
Watch over our homes and loved ones, anyone ending the day feeling drained or unsettled. Bring them gentle sleep and Your protective care.
We worship You, the God who is always worthy of our focus, the One who fills our thoughts with what is good and true.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
