I'd been looking at PAC contributions when I should have been looking at the people who actually have daily access to the Capitol - the media. The true lobbyists.
Punchbowl News represents a whole lot of powerful industries and they are unflinching admirers of Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
John Thune is the "paid influencer ecosystem." 𝕏 merely exposed how that machinery works in the Senate.
Just look at the posts of @AndrewDesiderio , their senior Senate "correspondent." Almost every single one is about defeating the SAVE America Act and praising Thune.
Punchbowl isn't shy about where their money comes from. Founder Jack Sherman himself admitted that 90% of Punchbowl's revenue is from "corporate sponsorships." They made 10 million dollars in revenue their first year... what kind of "journalist" company pulls that off?
The podcast featuring them outright describes their business model as getting their money from "sponsorships bought by trade groups and companies looking to get their public affairs messaging in front of those making and influencing policy."
Punchbowl got in ethical hot water when they treated a whole bunch of lobbyists to luxury box seats at a NFL game.

Those Premium subscribers are the K Street corporate government affairs staff and trade association officials whose legislative interests depend on what Senate leadership decides to schedule… or kill. The second-ever guest was Senate Majority Leader John Thune, on September 11, 2025. This is documented in your own webste. Now let’s go over your post carefully. You say Mike Lee "primed the GOP base to believe" something. That’s manipulative framing, the language of a man working a crowd. But Thune "pointed out" something. That’s the language of a man correcting the record, establishing fact. This is not a one-off phrasing choice on your part. Your Punchbowl coverage consistently frames Thune's positions as institutional reality and conservative alternatives as base management. Thune "declared" that the talking filibuster is dead. They are a point of view… and it's Thune's point of view, delivered with a byline. There's a structural reason this happens. You reports Thune's framing as conventional wisdom. When Desiderio writes that the talking filibuster "will ultimately fail" ... not might fail, not Thune argues it will fail, but when it ultimately fails ... is that journalism? Or is it the view from Thune's Fly Out Day chair? You are busted, Mr. Desiderio.

For over 2 years now, I’ve been telling everyone that the influencers who are being paid are actually being paid by Islamic countries and with Islamic money.
I always said the claim that pro-Israel and anti-Hamas accounts were being paid $7,000 was just projection and made up lies by people who actually have been given $7,000 by bad actors.
FEC records reveal that @RepThomasMassie, who has been spreading the lie that pro- Israel accounts are paid $7,000 per post, has actually been receiving donations of $7,000 from Muslim donors.
This explains why Massie appears to be pro-Iran and why he wants to limit President Trump’s ability to carry out strikes in Iran.
Another purveyor of the $7,000 lie used to attack Jews is @tparsi Trita Parsi, the founder of NIAC, and the founder of the Quincy Institute, who keeps appearing on @Bannons_WarRoom.
Parsi and NIAC @NIACouncil have been accused of lobbying for the Iranian regime and serving as a mouthpiece for the Ayatollah in DC.
In 2020, multiple US Senators, including @SenTomCotton and @tedcruz called on the DOJ to investigate NIAC for allegedly lobbying for the Iranian regime.
Recently, Paris’s @QuincyInst Quincy Institute gave Thomas Massie an award.

Before the Ayatollah was killed in an airstrike ordered by President Trump, one of the last tweets posted by the Ayatollah was the false claim that President Trump was looking to strike Iran because of the Epstein files. This is the same line used by Massie, who just yesterday, brought a vote to the floor of the House to try to limit President Trump’s war powers.
The House GOP @HouseGOP overwhelmingly voted in support of Trump, and Massie’s resolution ultimately failed after 4 Democrats crossed the aisle to vote against Massie’s resolution and on the side of America.
It appears that Massie is now a mouthpiece for Islamic and Iranian interests, which is why supporters of the terrorist Iranian Islamic regime are giving him $7,000 payments and awards.

I already generated a dossier on Spanberger, but the most interesting part of it is that she is part of a cohort of 50+ military-intelligence veterans that have been recruited to run as Democratic candidates starting in 2018. @SomeBitchIIKnow first hypothesized this, but my new dossier pipeline independently captured them.

I analyzed public databases and media reporting on violent confrontations with ICE over the past year.
Just 9 counties accounted for TWO-THIRDS of violent confrontations with ICE in America.
This is twice all violent confrontations in the remaining 3,134 counties COMBINED.
A violent confrontation in these 9 counties was 590 TIMES more likely than any of these other 3,134 counties.
590 times.
I plotted these 9 counties, and I found that all 9 counties are sanctuary jurisdictions run by Democrat politicians that resist immigration law enforcement.
These violent confrontations are RARE in states and cities where local officials cooperate with law enforcement.
