Dan Hurley (UConn) has really out coached Brad Underwood (Illinois) today. UConn running off ball double screens, multiple passes, in and out sets, etc Meanwhile Illinois just handing it to Wagler or Stojakovic and iso-ing all game. Easy to guard and predictable offense.

The reason Illinois struggled making shots is because their offensive coordinator didn’t run any action to ensure high-percentage looks. ISO into a waiting defense or flat-footed threes without any action isn’t the move. But that’s fine. A F4 is a F4. Learn from it. Adapt.

If I was the commissioner of college athletics, there is one rule I would LOVE to impose. Any player that stays at one school for their first four years of college gets a free fifth year of eligibility that he can use anywhere. Incentivize growth in one place.

Hitters Fight your ass off with 2 strikes. Spread out, choke up, take the plate away and refuse to strikeout. It's you vs the man on the mound. Don't let him beat you. It's personal. It's a competition. Remember. The only time it's acceptable to strikeout looking is with a full count on an expanded strike call. Shrink the zone and don't expand in full counts. Expand the zone with 2 strikes until the count goes full. Then shrink the zone.
