I post about motorsports, lousy officiating, & politicians who hate you. Buckeye from birth. Speech is NOT violence and violence is NOT speech.

@BarbMcQuade An unelected branch of government not enshrined in the constitution that you’re perfectly okay with. And one that determines if you can afford to buy a house or car.
Are you certain you’re okay with that organization having *no* oversight or governance.
English

@JonathanTurley Who still has faith in this country's elections? Man, that ship sailed years ago.
English

@JohnCornyn Who exactly do you represent? And if your constituents sent you to Washington to represent their interests, who are you to tell them to screw odf?
You got fired for this kind of hubris. Take the L and shut up.
English

I marvel at the keyboard warrior-geniuses and grifters who are ignorant of Senate rules and precedents who have miraculously become experts in its arcane rules. Promising the moon and stars and yet destining Republicans for failure is a very effective way to demoralize our base and elect more Democrats in the midterms.
English

@RepRoKhanna My dude… YOU are a millionaire. YOU are the useful idiot.
English

Oh man, you’re comms for Thune! Lol. Must be a stressful year for you what with your boss basically torching his career resisting an 80% positive issue just to perpetuate the swamp.
Your workdays must be a steady four alarm fire.
Way to go helping to make it worse with this tweet. Tell your boss we want the SAVE act.
English

Ok, I’ve seen enough. This is a categorical lie to make an embarrassing situation seem better by blaming people who had absolutely nothing to do with this. John Thune’s staff doesn’t run ticketing checks at the South Dakota GOP dinner doors. Give me a break.
ThePersistence@ScottPresler
It was Senate Majority Leader Thune’s staff that would not let me into the dinner. Thought I looked mildly handsome. Pass the SAVE America Act!
English

"The SAVE America Act will not be implemented in time for this election," Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) told reporters on Thursday, adding that Republicans "simply don't have the votes."
Tillis noted that November's midterm elections are only five months away, but some early voting and voter registration will take place prior to then. "Does any rational person who's ever had any experience with implementing election law really think that it's possible to have all that in place in time for this election and not be disruptive?"
English

@JohnCornyn So you’ve tried nothing and you’re all out of ideas. Got it.
English

Happy to do so. “Talking filibuster” won’t get us there and the votes aren’t there to nuke the filibuster, but open to any constructive ideas. My concern is falsely raising expectations and demoralizing our base, seems like a flawed strategy to win the midterms, 131 days from now.
Sean Spicer@seanspicer
Instead of why not, lets think of ways to get to yes
English

@RoKhanna You think your new anarchy-communist party members are going want to keep your millionaire ass around in the party?! You, Chuck and Hakeem are all their next obstacle to knock out of their way.
Get ready to get primaried.
English

@CBSNews His constituents didn’t want him enough to vote for him and here’s Cassidy acting like he’s some crusader. He should be packing his DC condo up and sitting quietly in the back of the room.

President Trump's meeting with GOP senators on Wednesday turned testy, and at one point, he told Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) to sit down, after questions arose about the War Powers Resolution, according to sources directly familiar with the meeting.
“I’m not going to be bullied when I’m trying to get answers for the American people,” Cassidy told reporters after the meeting.
English

Next week, we’ll be celebrating the one-year anniversary of President Trump signing the Working Families @TaxCuts.
Republicans continue our efforts to deliver safe streets, more money in your pocket, and new opportunities to get ahead.

The Keir Starmer I know is decent. He is compassionate. He is kind. He is thoughtful.
He is driven by a deep sense of public service, by duty, and by a belief that politics should be about improving people’s lives rather than advancing personal ambition.

The fix everything button is literally just to arrest criminals and keep them in jail
Bukele was able to do this in a matter of months
When you see the crime and rot in western cities and feel unsafe letting your wife walk around, know that it is a choice.

Nayib Bukele@nayibbukele
It’s a very simple concept, really.

🚨#BREAKING: Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer is reportedly set to announce his resignation on Monday.

Absolutely appalling.
No one should face violence on our streets. The suspect appears to be motivated by anti-Muslim hatred. I will not tolerate this - he will face the full force of the law.
My thoughts are with those who are injured and I thank the police and the emergency services for their response.

@Polymarket Oh please. That’s not going to happen. I’ve read he’s on his way out for years now and it never happens. Labour is perfectly happy with him.
