Act 3 really grinds the momentum Act 2 generated to an abrupt halt. It's no wonder a lot of people didn't finish.

I just want to say this, I don't believe gatekeeping, and think open discussion is the healthiest thing to move forward with. Emulation, recompilation, etc are all legal. Talking about it and giving it exposure is always a good thing. I hope if either I or someone else helped introduce you to emulation it opened your eyes and made it accessible for you, I also hope it showed you emulation isn't perfect and why its important to support physical media and preserve these titles moving forward. Sony has changed, they have disrespected us as long time fans and have mistreated the creators of your favorite franchise's. There is no one left to work on the Sly Cooper franchise. They have been laid off. Gravity Rush is abandoned, they are gone. I've had the creators of the franchise's themselves share my posts, and the greatest joy they have is seeing how many people still celebrate their work nearly 20 years later. They are no longer paid for the game, it is abandoned. There are still dedicated multiplayer communities for these titles and it's helped revitalize servers by removing the friction of onboarding to play again. I own the original copies and still have my PS3 and Vita. I don't want these games to be lost to memory and time upon the stores closure. I want to own my media, I don't want a digital license that will be revoked when they decide they want to save money and many people stand behind that. I want these games to be remembered and played again because we deserve better than the AI slop the future has in store for us. After these layoffs, the games Sony and Microsoft will be developing eventually will be built on the blood and soul of the developers of those that came prior. Cancel PS Plus, stop buying CoD, start celebrating the past and having fun again. I will continue supporting these projects.
