Loving someone with CPTSD who consistently was waiting for me to hurt him became extremely difficult, when all I wanted was for him to feel safe and loved with me. It’s part of what broke us.

Dismissive avoidants want relationships to feel like rainbows and butterflies 24/7. Constant ease, no conflict, and absolute peace which isn't realistic. You bring up an issue, and suddenly you're the problem "too much," "incompatible," aถส used as the reason to leave.

@NickiASaint @Gabbrielxzn Holy shit, same thing happened to me. Caught my ex in a lie, I asked for honesty, the whole situation was deflected and put on me and I had to apologize for their behavior. I broke up with them because of it too. All because I asked for accountability.

@Gabbrielxzn I was told to give them “space” because I caught them in a lie and then tried to play victim. Now we’re broken up because I apparently bring drama in their life all the sudden. Mind you we’ve never had a problem since we’ve been dating, but ok.

Avoidants ghosting their partner after a conflict when they’re seeking clarity or connection is emotional abuse, it leaves them in uncertainty which creates abandonment anxiety.

@juliannarvivas Holy shit, I just went through this last night. My ex was deflecting onto me hard and I had pointed out her actions to her and how it affected me, which triggered her and got her even more upset and how she was deflecting onto me and putting everything on me

@Captain_Epic3 @Ryan_Daigler Same thing with my ex, too. Anytime we’d have a conflict and we have to talk about it, she had a habit of trying to get me to be angry and mad and react to her anger, but I was always calm and loving and never gave her that reaction. Then she would feel bad for it

@Ryan_Daigler Because the truth will hurt them far more than any lie you could tell about them. Narcissists are the type to feel uncomfortable when you forgive them, too, they feel bad because they would rather you hold a grudge.

@MikeBales It's so sad to me that these actors become so deranged later in life that they'd entirely wreck a beloved film legacy and ruin their kindness with a dedicated audience just to score a few political hit points. And they're so mean bitter and angry, I worry for their souls too.

It’s remarkable how one actor’s Trump Derangement Syndrome has soured one of the most beloved film franchises of all time. Mark Hamill managed to do exactly that. I won’t be watching Star Wars again.
