Got into the craziest car accident I’ve been in last night. Left a clean, blizzards going. Guy doing 40, and drunk driving down the wrong lane smashed me dead on. Legs thrashed. Chest and ribs all bruised. Car is gone. Think I’m done cleaning for a little. What a night

@moneymarr 4 bed 2 bath 2500 sqft $278 first appointment $205 weekly after that. Basically just wanted free/cheap labor it what it seems. Cleaner is great as well so is a big oh well.

I’ll let this kinda client go every day of the week. Knew we had 30 min arrival window. Still complained cause cleaner was 25 mins “late” Managing resi clients is an every day battle seriously.

Hired 2 people this week and am going to do everything in my power to get them rolling. Gotta get comfortable with this sooner or later!!

When you grow up in rough areas, around rough men, you are taught quickly to not doo things that make you vulnerable. I think this is my leading issue with hiring for the cleaning business. Even with a great hiring process your business is vulnerable in that moment.

Pm company: “WE NEED 2 TURNED BY TUESDAY OR ELSE” Cleaners arrive and of course lockbox code doesn’t work. Team waits an hour, PM isn’t responding. I’m guessing tomorrow I’ll wake up to a “did you clean it ?” 🙃 lol

If you're a home service business and you think Facebook ads don't work you're wrong. You're just not putting out enough creative. With the Andromeda update ads fatigue faster than ever. What worked last month is already dying. You need at least 30 new ad creatives per month to actually move the needle. Same static image running for 6 weeks? Dead. Algorithm's bored. Your audience already scrolled past it 50 times. If you're in a small market doing this I can almost guarantee you'll be outworking everyone else running ads. Most businesses set it and forget it. That's why they think ads don't work. The ads work. The effort doesn't.

This subzero temp are putting my team in a tough spot. Had a client we had to reschedule last Friday to today due to vehicles not starting in -28 weather. Well today, both cleaners children are sick forcing another reschedule. The worse kind of first impression right there!

What a unreal time we live in. When will our local law enforcement start protecting the people they are sworn to protect? 6+ ICE agents so untrained they have to kill a man in order to get him to stop moving. @MinneapolisPD @CityMinneapolis @MayorFrey

@651Michael Have you signed up for the DND registry? Used to get a lot of these last year, almost none came through within a month of signing up.

@pjmcgeary If I could go back I’d never buy my househack. This lesson is actually why I am hyper focused on living the life I want. Purchased that duplex and all the headaches wasn’t worth the Pennie’s I picked up after.

Man I love this lol. Everyone under the sun on social media pushes real estate and investing in real estate. When in all reality, just push a button and you're invested in the S&P 500 getting ~10% returns annually. No people. No headaches. No middlemen. No tenants. Nothing. "yEaH, bUt rEaL eStAtE ReTuRnS aRe hIgHeR" An extra few percent? Screw it, call it an extra 10%? WHO CARES. The whole point is to enjoy life to the fullest. 1. Make money actively 2. Invest as passive as you can so you can live life, decrease stress, and have fun. Simplicity wins.
