🇦🇷 Peter Thiel has temporarily relocated his family to Argentina, purchased a $12 million mansion in one of Buenos Aires’ most exclusive neighborhoods, and enrolled his children in local schools. 🇺🇸 When a state like California starts introducing a wealth tax, it is not because politicians are socialist or stupid. It’s because they want to drive out the wealthy on purpose and reduce the tax base, deliberately asset-stripping the state for private institutional ownership that can use the tax code to secure exemptions and advantages. It’s not because politicians are stupid. It’s not because they are radical left-wing communists. That’s the narrative that keeps you locked into the belief that the left has the back of the poor, while the right gets to point at the left when the state goes to shit. It’s because the state is being acquired by the financial-industrial complex, and the resulting civil unrest serves the private prison sector of the military-industrial complex. At the same time, they install a police and surveillance system that benefits the technological-industrial complex powered by Palantir. The same one Peter Thiel works for. It’s a business model. Anywhere you see a wealth tax, it’s an end-game asset-stripping exercise that gives more power to the wealthy, not less. They are not coming after billionaires. They are transferring wealth to billionaires. By design. ALL POLITICIANS WORK FOR THEIR CORPORATE LOBBIES. Stop believing in left-versus-right politics. One under-discussed possibility regarding Thiel's apparent move to Argentina is that Argentina has - for many years - allowed certain wealthy, foreign billionaires to establish de facto parallel states in the country, where the federal government declines to intervene, even to protect its own citizens and laws.
Roughly seven years ago, I traveled to Argentina and wrote about how UK billionaire Joe Lewis (who Trump recently pardoned after he was found guilty of insider trading) had established one such "parallel state" in Argentine Patagonia, and even controls a private airport that the Argentine state doesn't even pretend to monitor. Did Milei allow Thiel the opportunity to experiment with one such "parallel state"? Given how Thiel and his associates are eager to create "network states" along similar lines, and Milei's own ideological leanings and personal ties to that crowd, it is an angle worth considering.

As an aside on Lewis, he is a notorious associate of George Soros, whose long-time Argentine business partners are Eduardo Elzstain and Marcel Mindlin. Mindlin and Lewis are now also business partners, where they control a significant part of the Argentine power grid. Elzstain controls a large segment of Argentine real estate as well as one of the main national banks it relies on, while also serving an outsized role at Endeavor Argentina. Elzstain also has long-standing ties to members of the US-based "Mega Group" via his past executive roles at the World Jewish Congress. Elzstain has since become exceedingly close to Milei and was previously a major backer of previous Argentine president Mauricio Macri.
Returning to Endeavor Argentina, this Elzstain-linked entity is a satellite of the larger Endeavor, which is largely run by the Bronfmans (who incidentally know Elzstain via their close ties to WJC). Endeavor Argentina is responsible for producing the PayPal-linked Amazon equivalent of Latin America, MercadoLibre, and also has produced other companies tied the PayPal Mafia (which obviously intersects with Thiel). Notably, Endeavor itself is closely tied to Reid Hoffman. Also, Wences Casares, the "Peter Thiel" of Latin America, is also closely linked to Endeavor. One of Endeavor Argentina's more recently incubated companies is satellite surveillance company Satellogic, which became closely tied to Howard Lutnick and Steve Mnuchin. This kind of gives you an idea of how Milei-linked power networks in Argentina intersect with US-based power networks and how it overlaps somewhat with the circles around Thiel. The idea that this guy is being treated as an authority on Christianity is just absurd. He is re-framing what it means to be Christian for his own ends, and it should be obvious.
This guy worked directly with the CIA and an Iran-Contra criminal to privatize the most Orwellian Bush-era surveillance proposal, creating Palantir in the process, wants to tear down representative government and replace it with a private company run by a CEO/dictator, promotes borgifying humanity and frames it as necessary, and funds and helped create numerous companies that help commit genocide and blow children to smithereens. He embodies the opposite of what are ostensibly Christian values. Let him redefine what it means to be "Christian" at your own risk.
Also, no one would even consider calling this guy "Christian," let alone an authority on it, a few decades ago. But now the PayPal mafia bros largely control the digital realms that now dominate public discourse and have successful bought up a legion of podcasters/influencers, so they can make a large segment of the public believe whatever they want I guess.
In today's world, Emperor Palpatine could also probably successfully frame himself as a well-meaning authority on who and who isn't a baddie.

Peter Thiel was an early Silicon Valley donor to Trump, who currently sits as President of the United States
He hand picked JD Vance, who goes on to become VP and is still in that position
His friend and former cofounder, Elon Musk, is the richest man on the planet and is about to do the biggest IPO ever in history
His fund was one of the earliest backers of Space X, amongst many other successful investments
Literally everything he wished for has happened. Everyone he wanted in power is currently in power.
But, he is now leaving the country to move to Argentina. What am I missing here?
