I'm increasingly believing that Trump's statements on the US Navy's secondary blockade of the SoH still being 100% in effect is BS, a fairy tale spun to the American public, and that the reality is far different. That out of the public eye, "pre-deal" side deals are being made for the passage of certain ships to select countries. Such as China. @mattpheus @CoffeeandaMike @KingKong9888

A COSCO tanker just crossed the Strait of Hormuz while most operators are still avoiding the area. Tanker Hua Lin Wan was reported to have left Hormuz with a cargo of naphtha from Kuwait to China’s Guangdong. Other Chinese-linked VLCCs have also begun to move again in recent days.

People are still on my channels talking about TRUSTING THE PLAN. It's amazing 6 years after COVID people are still hanging onto an idea that Trump is smashing a cabal. Like at what point when these results you think are not happening do you stop TRUSTING THE PLAN? Amazing

The plan. From a man who lied about the vaccine. Gave a medal to an American Mengele, then turned around and bragged about all of that. A man who promised to control spending and the swamp and instead is on track to spend more than Obama and Biden combined (Trump 8 years vs. their 12 years). A liar who said no new wars and is preparing an invasion of Cuba after destabilizing the US, hell global economy with an ill-advised attack on Iran. The list is endless. But his greatest accomplishment will not be all the corrupt pardons, ill gotten family gains, or white trash mobile home version of the White House; it will be the destruction of the modern GOP by destroying the last vestiges of Limbaugh conservatism and becoming a modern day progressive in every sour, disgusting aspect of that word. We should never have expected less. From a Democrat from New York.

@CoffeeandaMike @HealthRanger I didn't pick up that you were so closed minded. I am honestly trying to answer your questions, but this is a shitty platform for it.

Don't do that. You don't know me so don't make assumptions. If you want to know why the jobs left and Cleveland is cold, look up the Triffin dilemma. That drove the US economy for the last 70 years. When businesses need utility infrastructure, they end up subsidizing the rest of the rate payers. There are some insane rules imposed on utilities that can drive up costs before a new load comes on, but that is government and affects all businesses. Datacenters are being built for new loads, both AI and cloud. Be concerned about governments, but by the time the G is buying space in datacenters, you already lost the war.

Oh I see so is this "if the United States does not build it China will response?" Gotta beat those bad guys huh? Who sent all of the industry off shore to begin with? Are you a TRUST THE PLAN guy? What business is it of mine? When the citizens has to pay for the water/electricity for these data centers it's all my business. No one even knows what these data centers are being built for.

A datacenter uses as much water as a golf course. A larger datacenter employs about 200 people on site and thousands off site. Power consumption is only an issue because we have been under investing in power for decades. All industries increase the electrical load. The argument against datacenters is the degrowth agenda. Don't fall for the collectivist idea that businesses are commons. Do you worry how a new car dealership is going to benefit you personally? What businesses is it of yours if some insurance company needs some racks to run new claims software? This has been going on since the 60s. All of a sudden, computer infrastructure made the news. If we can't build datacenters, forget about factories or mines. May as well put a fork in ever deindustrializing the country. Since when does everybody get a say in running your business?

@martyamilligan @HealthRanger Come on with that. Comparing a data center to a golf course? How many people work at a data center? How much water/power do they consume? I am missing something here how would I as a citizen in a community benefit from this?

How do you benefit from a concrete plant or a cargo depot or a golf course? For small cities, they bring in a small but high paid staff as well as significant property taxes. The utilities get a reliable customer that justifies infrastructure upgrades while not adding complexity. Again, these were always desirable businesses until recently.

@CoffeeandaMike At some point you have to admit that there is no plan and he's just making shit up as he goes along. I like Trump, I really do, but he's a billionaire. I have no doubt he loves this country, but he loves money more. The question now is ....does he love power more than money?
