I cannot Korean Backdash in VF or DOA. The gameplay that I find unappealing in T8 is not fixed by playing VF.
For the movement and spacing game I want to play, the next best alternative was probably SSBM.
@alcratz's R.U.S.H. has taken that spot now. The 1 hour I played was the most fun I've had in FGs in forever.

Coming back to this. Whether Tekken players like it or not. VF is the best alternative for them. Like seriously. Wtf else are you going to play? Every other fighter aside from DoA is going to be drastically more different and probably more busted than Tekken 8.

@mariapuddingway @Zingus5 but the game doesnt support that which is why it ended up as a casual for fun game. So here nerfing the god runs doesnt add any depth or strategy to the game other than the amount of games you have to play since the strategies themselves are so surface level.

Objectivly AC has a more interactive combat system than DMC, a game where none of the enemies attack you and the whole point is to be allowed to do whatever you want. The POINT of DMC is that theres not real combat depth, you can just press cool buttons

It's time for people to realize that games felt more "tactical" when you were 12 because nobody knew how to play these games, and the basic mechanics of CoD were tightly made at the time, and good, but it's completely normal to "grow out" of CoD if you kept up with the hobby.
