Yes I know there are more advanced dishes in French cuisine than baguette and deli meats but for most part the disrespect of ethnic foods is why this debate even exists.

I am a die hard MTL girly, but like ya... for the most part, Toronto has a better food scene. It's a matter of diversity. Montreal is world class in a select group of foods and generally speaking remains way more accessible because the city is cheaper, but let's be real

I lived in Montreal for 2 years. I’ve been to 23 different countries.
I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Montreal is NOT touching Toronto. They arent even in the same weight class.
Bangkok, Berlin, Athens, Rome are all above Montreal but they’re below Toronto.

Kindest of advice I can give to anyone looking into these new names $AAOI, $IQE, $AXTI, $COHR, $SLOIF, $OCC (and many more in this sector).
Before you buy, make sure you understand:
- Their debt
- Their previous and future dilution
- Their margin growth
- Their execution vs guidance previously
A lot of people earned a lot of money on these names, but a lot of retail will lose it too. Demand alone doesn't mean companies will actually succeed. That's only 1 piece of the puzzle.
Don't FOMO without at least understanding what you're getting into.
