@maaxlaaxrdm He falls because he ran into Hartenstein, unless you think that Castle is the strongest man in the world that can shove someone over with barely any force
English

@BackendBallerr @BetMGM Hey, smart guy, that article never mentions the Spurs. Acting so confident to be so wrong is mad embarrassing lmfao.
English

@7Bignate @jdsilva_ @fatpikachupic Only illogical one is you. You are a hypocrite and when called out on it you cry like a bitch
English

I know you haven’t been to the playoffs in a while, but Draymond Green used to kick Steven Adams in the dick every game in those OKC/GSW matchups. Grow up.
SPURSSZN@spurstopia
@jdsilva_ The “gamesmanship” in question btw
English

@SarksDaddy The knee jerk reaction being "Well these player dealt with something similar" and not wanting it to actually change sums up how shitty NBA discourse is pretty well.
English

The Thunder were absolutely the better team last game wtf are you talking about
Herd w/Colin Cowherd@TheHerd
"We have to be totally honest about this. Nobody wants to hear this in OKC: San Antonio's been the better team. Oklahoma City is looking up." Despite winning game 2, @colincowherd thinks the Thunder could be in trouble
English

@DawgsofThunder @mari1million Notice how TRoss's point is that Wemby doesn't complain. Now try and say the same for SGA i dare you.
English

@mari1million I could make the same video of how SGA gets guarded and mauled 94ft in every series. But I rest my case in your stupidity. 💀
English

@jdsilva_ @fatpikachupic “Wemby held Chet on a single play and I didn’t complain so people can’t complain about a whole game of uncalled grabs and a HAIR PULL (which is supposed to be an automatic flagrant 2 btw)” The way OKC fans have to logic with themselves gets more absurd by the day.
English

@7Bignate @fatpikachupic Yeah I don’t care. There are missed called on both sides in every NBA game. Wemby was holding Chet on a game-deciding play in Game 1 and I wasn’t on here complaining.
English

@jdsilva_ @fatpikachupic A blatant uncalled foul leading to a 3 by McCain in a 4 point game in the 4th is "Not consequential to the outcome of the game". Jesus Christ man.
English

@7Bignate @fatpikachupic Which is already too long. It was not consequential to the outcome of the game. Move on.
English

@jdsilva_ @fatpikachupic "For this long" it hasn't even been 24 hours lmfao
English

@fatpikachupic Of course it’s not okay, but lingering on it for this long and complaining online is worthless. If the same happened to a Thunder player I would not be on here complaining. It’s a competitive series. Shit happens. I’m enjoying the basketball.
English

@Thunder4l1fe @BiasedHouston The guards on both teams are playing ridiculous on ball pressure and are physical on entry passes. The Spurs aren't blatantly grabbing the opposing big men's limbs on every contest or rebound. That's the difference.
English

@BiasedHouston The Spurs are doing the same thing to Shai though. It’s the playoffs they are always going to allow a lot of physicality off the ball
English

As a neutral enjoyer of this series, I love the physicality from both teams. This is what we come to see.
If I was a Spurs fan, I’d be livid. Wemby *is* being fouled very religiously out there.
DysonMaraFlemings@DysonM0ses
Mainstream media consensus was that nba needed to bring back the midrange and physical basketball and then a team with an all time great midrange scorer and a physical defense comes along and it’s just nothing but hatred you can’t make it up
English

@sportssicko1 @okcamars Don't bring logic into an argument with OKC fans they can't handle it
English

@okcamars Do you understand that this level of physicality is going on for both team, at the GUARD spots. Both teams are pressing up, grabbing, bumping, etc, but Hart and Chet are grabbing wemby by the arms, hooking, holding, not allowing him to move. Way different scenarios
English

@shaiwindyowens @whoknowswhonose @JacobKniffen There's maybe one or two plays in here that is even close to as egregious to what IHart was doing 20 times last night. I'm more likely to win the lottery than see OKC fans take accountability for their players.
English

I didn’t think Castle was playable this series — but if he’s gonna be allowed to maul and grab Shai like this on every play he should play 48 minutes. This is hilarious.
Bill Simmons@BillSimmons

English

@BackendBallerr @BetMGM The only teams that were confirmed that he turned down is PHI, CHA, and Utah. There are absolutely 0 reports he ever got offered a workout from the Spurs. I'M just talking tho
English

@BackendBallerr @BetMGM Spurs already came out and said they’re taking Harper at 2 before the workouts. There is literally 0 disrespect, Ace wasn’t on their board.
English

@SpursReporter Don't understand why people struggle to understand what happened this play. Wemby is met with physicality at the 3 point line every possession. He always drops his shoulder to meet that impact and establish position. Caruso made a vet play and drew a charge. Nothing more.
English

Ok, time to have our own honest film room review of what didn't work in Game 1 at OKC. Feel free to add your own.
First. What was this?
Why lower your shoulder into an opposing player during a critical moment and risk a flop or a foul?
Respecting every single possession is critical tonight.
1/2) 🧵
English

@7Bignate @WembyAlienEra That was the only shot outside of the paint but sure
English

Paul Pierce on Wembanyama’s Game 1 performance:
“I saw a Jordan-esque presence on offense, and I saw a defensive presence that I’ve never seen before.
Which brings me to the conclusion that this is the best basketball player that I’ve ever seen play.”
#GoSpursGo #PorVida
English

@Cwesi510261 @WembyAlienEra Jordan could never hit a game tying 32 footer in OT btw
English

@WembyAlienEra Jordan-esque with dunks and tip ins. Yeah sure lmao
English

@BackendBallerr @BetMGM There was 0 universe Ace went 2 after the lottery. Before all the drama Spurs basically confirmed they wanted Dylan, even though their need was a forward. That tells you their was a gap between the 2.
English

@BetMGM If ace ain’t play the draft the way he did, he woulda went 2nd
English

@DanLevyTheMan69 @funakistats Maybe because he's shooting 29% this year and letting him shoot is what won them games in their regular season matchup? I'm sure the Spurs care more about what has historically worked for them and not what he shot 2 years ago.
English

@7Bignate @funakistats He was a 41% 3 point shooter two years ago on the most three point attempts per game he ever had in his career.
Idk why y’all keep acting like he’s some ass shooter, especially if he’s wide open and able to get into rhythm. Y’all just be saying shit😂
English

OKC’s expected field goal percentage was significantly higher than the Spurs (45.6% vs 40.9%) but the Spurs shot 3.1% better than expected while OKC shot 4.6% worse
On high difficulty shot attempts (<37% expected FG%, red line below)…
Spurs made 15-40 (37.5%)
OKC made 3/30 (10%)
Tough shot making variance felt like a massive reason for the Spurs win and the data confirms it…
