Great, then you won't mind when the US leaves NATO. A Pew poll taken last month before the start of hostilities with Iran found that fewer than 30% of Americans were willing to send any more money to Ukraine. It's exceedingly rare to get 70% of Americans to agree to anything but here we are.
When public sentiment turns it often moves quickly, and while Euros have been busy obsessing about their feelings toward the US, they haven't once stopped to consider how Americans feel about them.

Europe has to understand that NATO isnt a one way street. If Europe does not support the USA now, dont expect the Americans to help the next time Denmark or Canada randomly decide to invade other countries!

@XmaaniN @RasmusJarlov The only country to EVER activate NATO in its defence was the USA. None of the other nations have ever asked for help, but ALL of them gave it to the USA when it called.

The (new) Merc engine saga comes down to rule semantics again. McLaren are deliberately not being given enough info to operate optimally, but have the full software, which is a loose interpretation of “capable of being operated in the same way”. Probably against spirit of regs.

@shepherdkevin @MattP1Gallagher I'm gonna say this once and only once - they are NOT lifting and coasting. They are flat out but engaging the motor as a generator which causes them to slow down. Not the same thing.
