@85Alive85 It’ll need watching but it’s unstoppable. Especially given the quality of human effort or lack of it. Due to distractions such as school runs, Amazon deliveries and rounds of golf (yes weekday attendances have rocketed in the last 5 years). But I need to let that go now …

Lets also point out that these people are huge supporters of less government input into private sector business affairs but are currently on the campaign trail aimed at mostly retired people to tell private sector business to put people in offices £100's a week away from home

@85Alive85 It won’t be long before many of these office jobs disappear anyway. AI is moving into these areas and major corporations are spending serious money investigating it. But that’s a different topic.

@tankhead666 Not every position functions so well with wfh but some work much better with it. My main gripe isn't if it happens or not but the interference from people not involved. I expected it to grow more hybrid, which it has, but it'll never go full office again. People will just leave

@tankhead666 Maritime shipping? I've been recruiting for a broker out of Athens since December for their Panamax desk. Those guys are generally office based but flexible. The technology side of things is far more flexible, that's my primary arena.
