Somewhere in the 1990s, a cryptographic decision was made that nobody questioned. In 2026, 25,000 developers woke up holding the bill for it. Nobody asked the developers. Not when the cryptographic assumptions were baked into every protocol. Not when the standards were finalized. And not when the migration timelines started appearing in government memos. The engineers just woke up one day holding the bill for a decision that was made in the 1990s. Here is what that bill actually looks like. There are roughly 20,000 to 30,000 active blockchain and Web3 developers globally. Not millions. Tens of thousands. A remarkably small group to be maintaining infrastructure that holds trillions in value. Every single one of them is writing against cryptographic primitives, ECDSA, secp256k1, SHA-256, that were designed before quantum computing was an engineering concern rather than a physics thought experiment. They did not choose those primitives. They inherited them. And they built entire ecosystems on top. Now here is the ask. Migrate. Rotate keys across millions of wallets. Upgrade signature schemes on live networks with billions in locked value. Coordinate hard forks across decentralized communities that agree on almost nothing. Rewrite SDKs, auditing frameworks, tooling, documentation, and mental models across an industry that is already running at full capacity just keeping up with what it has. Oh, and do it before a timeline nobody can pin down precisely, against a threat that is invisible until the day it is not. This is not a product roadmap item. It's a civilizational infrastructure problem. Handed to a generation of developers who were just trying to build. And the cruelest part is this. The developers who are most exposed are not the ones who made the original design choices. They are the ones who arrived later, learned the tools that existed, shipped real things, and are now being told the foundation those tools sit on has an expiration date. Post-quantum cryptography is not complicated because the math is hard, though it is. It is complicated because ML-DSA and ML-KEM, the NIST-standardized algorithms meant to replace what we have, are not drop-in replacements. Signature sizes are 30 to 40 times larger. Key generation behavior is different. The entire security proof rests on different mathematical hardness assumptions that most working developers have never had reason to study. The tooling is immature. The libraries are young. The audit standards for post-quantum smart contract security do not fully exist yet. So what is the actual solution? It is not telling developers to become post-quantum cryptographers on top of everything else they are already doing. It is building the quantum-safe layer underneath them. Into the protocol. Into the base layer. So that a developer writing a smart contract in 2026 does not have to understand lattice-based cryptography any more than a developer writing a web app today needs to understand the TLS handshake. The best infrastructure becomes invisible. It solves the hard problem at the layer where the hard problem belongs, and hands developers a clean surface to build on. We understand this and we are not asking developers to carry the quantum migration. We ship the solution ourselves.

thalesgroup.com/en/news-centre… 🔐⏰ France starts the timer and sets it to 2027. Thales (a global high-tech leader in defense, aerospace, and cyber & digital) and CEA (a public research body) just wrapped up GIVERNY, a groundbreaking joint assessment of HAWK and FAEST post-quantum algorithm implementations. Their security analysis? They discovered vulnerabilities not yet disclosed to the scientific community and tested the strength of existing countermeasures. But here's the real headline: France's ANSSI (France’s national cybersecurity authority) isn't waiting anymore. Products on the market after 2030 must be quantum-safe. For sensitive systems seeking qualification? That deadline is 2027. Across Europe, the EU's coordinated roadmap mirrors this urgency: critical infrastructure quantum-ready by 2030. The US (via NIST), UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan: they've all published timelines. They're all aligned. This isn't debate anymore, it's momentum. For enterprise leaders and developers: if your cryptographic stack still runs on classical algorithms in 2030, you're already behind. Not by months. By regulatory cycles. By trust cycles. The organizations that transition now own the narrative. The ones that don't? They inherit the risk.

Just like Layer 2 scaling solutions are secondary protocols built on top of existing Layer 1 blockchains (like Ethereum) to increase transaction speeds and lower costs, QAN XLINK should be recommended to Ethereum and EVM-compatible ecosystems to enable quantum resistance. This should be issued as an official recommendation by the Ethereum Foundation and @VitalikButerin. This move alone will shore up Ethereum/EVM defenses for their entire user base until their own in-house solutions are ready whilst sending $ETH higher and $QANX to the stratosphere. 🚀🚀🚀

The recent Hacken audit of XLINK confirms that QANplatform’s technology offers a secure, production ready solution for post quantum cryptography on Ethereum and EVM compatible chains. Given the growing quantum threat, @VitalikButerin and the Ethereum Foundation should seriously consider recommending QANplatform’s XLINK as an interim quantum resistant bridging and signing layer for Ethereum users and all EVM ecosystems, until native post-quantum cryptography is fully implemented in Ethereum itself. This would significantly strengthen the security posture of the entire ecosystem in the short to medium term.

Enterprise adoption without privacy is impossible. The Web3 space has long been insisting on transparency. However, every business, even small ones, holds internal data that is not meant to be shared publicly. Privacy blockchain tech isn't just about moving funds in an untraceable way. It's also about privately storing business-critical data on a mathematically tamper proof infrastructure. At @QANplatform we understood early on that institutions wouldn't adopt blockchain tech without the ability to store their data privately. That's why we built the QAN Enterprise Blockchain: a private and a secure way to leverage blockchain technology while keeping your privacy as an enterprise.
Misha Jurin@mishajurin

Privacy is becoming one of the main narratives in crypto right now. @mert is shilling ZEC 24/7 (I wonder how many shifts those poor interns pull to post for him about ZEC all day, every day). @VitalikButerin just introduced Kohaku - an Ethereum wallet SDK - which focuses on bringing privacy to wallets. But privacy shouldn’t be a flavor of the month. It shouldn’t be a trend that dies out when the “next big thing” comes along. ZEC has been around for years, yet no one cared. Suddenly it started to pump and everyone became pro-privacy overnight. Privacy is a fundamental human right we should all stand up for when it’s being challenged (hi EU), whether in crypto or beyond.

Let's assume that each developer only knows one programming language for the sake of simplicity. Five out of the top ten blockchains are EVM chains and only support smart contracts written in Solidity and Vyper, which represent only 1.1%, and <0.5% of developers globally. That's less than 1.6% in total. The same goes for Hyperliquid with its HyperEVM. TON supports FunC and Tact, and both languages represent <0.1% of developers. That's less than 0.2% in total. Arbitrum supports Solidity (1.1%), Rust (12.6%), C (19.3%), and C++ (22.4%). Compared to the market, it's a decent coverage. However, the actual usability is limited since Arbitrum Stylus executes smart contracts in a WASM, meaning these languages can't be used to their full potential. That's a total of 55.4%. However, C and C++ are commonly known together. Solana is the other contender with a better coverage: Rust, C, and C++ (again, commonly known together). These three cover 54.3% of developers globally. Since we assumed that one developer knows only one language during the calculation, the post illustrates the maximum potential reach. Many developers are polyglots and know multiple languages, so the actual numbers are much lower. To start building on blockchain, developers often need to learn a completely new programming language. As the data shows, most developers still haven’t joined the Web3 space. At QANplatform, we remove this barrier by enabling developers to write smart contracts in any programming language. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Web3's DIRTY SECRET: 98% of devs CAN'T build on your chain! Why?... They're Forced to learn alien languages: 👉 5/10 top chains (EVM/HyperEVM): ONLY Solidity (1.1%) + Vyper (<0.5%) = <1.6% reach 👉TON: FunC/Tact = <0.2% 👉Arbitrum: Rust/C/C++ (55.4% max) but WASM cripples them 👉Solana: 54.3% max (same langs) 1 lang/dev assumption – polyglots = REAL reach << this! Devs HATE relearning, so Web3 stays tiny. QANplatform let's Devs code Smart contracts in ANY Language. Mass adoption starts with QAN! Who's coding tomorrow?
