This will probably be my last post here.
Sometimes you need to make tough decisions in order to improve your situation, and I feel like shutting down this account will help me move past what has been an at times exciting ride but more recently proven to be an unproductive distraction.
When I take stock of my life at the moment -- how I'm spending my time and how it contributes to my well-being and overall happiness -- it's very clear that, at almost 50 years old, leaking phones and posting wallpapers are completely quixotic pursuits.
If I can't afford an important prescription, or even the transportation to pick up those meds, WTF am I doing spending hours on upscaling thousands of wallpapers? I need to reprioritize, and abandoning the compulsion to curate whatever reputation I've made for myself, is the first step.
This account has been active since 2012, and I've been leaking phones since 2009. That's a long time for someone with a chronic condition to eschew steady income, and now I need to try to start picking up the pieces.
However, just because this feed will disappear doesn't mean that I will. Whatever social media itches I have will get scratched on IG instead ([@]EvanBlass - which also happens to be my PayPal and Venmo, in case anyone want to make final donations.)
Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to this pursuit over the years - with your opinions, your advice, your humor, and your insights. It's been an honor leaking for you.

@MattWallaceTech full paid FSD users should ALWAYS get it first. But alas, no.

I just witnessed a Launch Edition Model Y get rear-ended, hard enough that it’s likely headed for a total loss. 😢
What makes it especially painful is that the Launch Edition came with lifetime FSD baked into the purchase price at a significant premium. Tesla made that FSD license non-transferable. So if the car is written off, the lifetime FSD dies with it. All that extra money paid upfront vanishes along with the vehicle.
This is exactly why the FSD subscription model usually makes more sense for most buyers. You pay monthly only while you own and drive the car. If it gets totaled or traded in, you simply cancel the subscription. No massive sunk cost disappears with the vehicle.
It’s a reminder that hardware is replaceable, but those non-transferable software licenses aren’t.

@NotATeslaApp missing is phantom braking with an 18 wheel giving the gentle nudge on the bumper.
English

@teslascope I think people paying FULL price back when should be first in line. Not the $99 poors.

Our prediction came true, and we're now seeing 2026.2.9.9 (FSD V14.3.2) approaching ~15% saturation within the first 24 hours, after three separate waves!
Two waves yesterday, and one at approximately 4AM (PST). We anticipate more waves within the next 24 hours.
Teslascope@teslascope
@99_Colorado Very solid chance of that or this update finally being the one to break past 1%!

@MattWallaceTech @Tesla_AI Obligatory, but but what about HW3 ? Lol STFU ! 14.2.5 here as well.
English

Anyone know when FSD V 14.3.2 will go wide? From what I’m seeing not many people have it and are still on 14.2.2.5. Paging @Tesla_AI

If you know, letting your car idle after intense driving.
Lets say you drove home for about 50 km's or 30 miles.
As soon as you park up at home you shut off the engine.
All of that heat you leave trapped in the engine which will eventually cause damage.
Instead as soon as you park up, let your car idle for 1 - 3 minutes to let the coolant and oil cool turbos, engine down.
Especially important on highly complicated cars like this BMW F10 M5, twin-turbo S63 V8, their most complex engine at the time.

@imPatrickT Dude's "fix" for anti AI is "live photos from 11 years ago" Eh... NO.

@Tutrifour We've heard stories about auto FSD disengaging before something bad. This looks like that.
English

Here's a longer clip with meta data overlay. FSD is turned off right before the vehicle swerves to the right. Used github.com/teslamotors/da… and had claude overlay it on the video.
English

@mischamartijn You squandered your opportunity to get a HW4 model and transfer FSD for life, don't be salty.
